I just got it today as of the patch! The original post is below but its whatever now since they looked into it and fixed it. I've noticed ship related posts are starting up so I'm contributing. Before TTK dropped I was only rank 3 so I could get the fulcrum. Then I saw people with the thoughtcrime after the first iron banner and I checked the kiosk. I saw out of all the new ships listed that were designed and treated like a mix and match action figure there are only 2 others like it. The road unraveled and mind bleacher. So I started grinding like crazy for fwc and crucible, but mainly donations for fwc, I thought my rerolling addiction was bad but holy hell I was beyond broke several times. I got 3 ships to drop, the teilhard war and the climb. But I got the climb twice. I remember seeing a patch note about a fix for the climb dropping multiple times but I think it overwrote the ability for alot of us to get ships. My theory is that since I had 3 ship drops the game thinks I have all 3 when I don't, so I won't get a 4th ship drop, despite trying on my other characters as well. Ive received no duplicates as far as shaders or emblems go, just the ship. As for the mind bleacher, I haven't seen anyone with this ship and up until the April update I hadn't received a ship from crucible or a package since The dark below, and the thoughtcrime has what I honestly think is the lowest drop rate in the game considering its only "available" for one week out of the month compared to the other 2 and barely anyone sees it drop, most said it dropped at random after they returned to orbit even if the rewards screen was blank for them. I've tried spreading awareness about this before but its usually greeted with "its only a loading screen" but this has been going on way too long. Even with the April update it feels like the game is just mashing together random ships making up names and throwing them at me to avoid giving me one of the 3 I want. Every ship I've gotten post April update has been red and blue or green and black, little light is nice but its like the ships that existed prior to the update just don't exist anymore. And yet the birth of history, the year one ugly duckling, has been seen dropping more recently than it did year one. Hell I got mine a few months ago and I've been playing since beta. TL;DR I had 3 ships drop,2 were the same ship, I don't think the game realizes this so it won't give me my last ship, mind bleacher is a myth, thoughtcrime drops way to rarely and ship drops as a whole need to be examined. Just ranked up again in crucible, got plasma donor. This is a mix and match I didn't think was possible but wow. Come on this is embarrassing. I'll equip for those who don't know what it looks like. I think the factions should have a guaranteed ship drop one in every 10 rank ups. Even if it means duplicates. The loot table for fwc, do and nm is small so even if duplicates have a possibility of dropping I'd feel better knowing there's still a chance. Iron banner should just sell the ships at rank 5 and crucible/vanguard are fine for the most part. They just need to remember where the stash of ships went prior to the April update. Update - I still don't have it but I've decided to start holding onto all the items that I get to see if the smart loot recognizes previous drops in inventory. So far I've received a pulse rifle,fusion rifle,rocket launcher and helmet. I'm also carrying the two fwc ships I have, I don't see any reason to get the shaders and emblems out but for good measure I'm going to carry those two, leaving the only the chest, legs, legendary class item empty, as well as the actual third ship. Fwc has a hand cannon I don't currently have as well as a fusion rifle and heavy machine gun. So if smart loot does take note of what's in my inventory the next package I get should be 1 of 7 things instead of 1 in 23. Good luck guardians.
