Now I know that the general consensus is as follows; Dredgen Yor was a Hunter.
However, there is only evidence to this. Not fact. I personally believe he was a Warlock.

Well I believe that he was Hunter because in what case do you see a Titan go alone or insaine they are the most devote protectors of the city and when did he haste a thirst for knowledge ??? Never so he can't be a warlock
-
He was definitely a hunter, in lore & in game all signs point to it.
Definitely

point
Get it?

There is an uncommon hunter cloak that used to be Dredgons. There is also a hunter artifact called Dredgon Yurs Rose. Dredgon also used a Hand Cannon (first Rose, then Thorn), like all other lore Hunters, while lore warlocks typically use only Pulse Rifles, with the exception of Toland, who used Shadow Price (auto rifle) as well as a Pulse Rifle (Bad Juju). It is also vaguely implied in thorn and last word grimoire and ghost fragments that he was a hunter. If I remember right, it also mentions that Jaren and Dredgon were best friends (which is why Jaren couldn't bring himself to kill Dredgon, resulting I'm his own death) as well as part of the same fireteam, and everyone else on the fireteam was hunters. Dredgon Yur was a Hunter. There is absolutely nothing to suggest he was a warlock. If you choose to believe that, more power to ya I guess. #TitanMasterRace

Editado por What I Look Like: 5/30/2016 12:54:08 PMThere was also said to be a time early on when Warlocks wore cloaks.. I mean if we're being entirely serious a cloak is a hooded shawl, I'm sure many Guardians made use of them.

Editado por The Muzzy98: 5/30/2016 12:57:34 PMHow early on are we talking? Because the story of Ward and Yor took some place during the late Dark Ages or the early City Age, and by that point, all of the classes were pretty well distinguished.
-
I'm talking from the standpoint of an actual life, not a videogame that determines what class item you're "allowed" to wear. Just saying it's possible. His ability with a cannon could have caused Hunters to want to wear his cloak, perhaps out of admiration.
-
The cloak he wears is actually pahanin's, he took it after he killed him.
-
Pahanins cloak is a squid you can get it
-
There are multiple cloaks with quotes from pahanin, what makes you think the squid is his exact cloak? Also the cloak of dredgen yor reads "before he murdered Pahanin, dredgen yor ruled the crucible, the notorious Thorn at his side." This might be pointing towards the cloak being pahanin's, or it could just be a coincidence.
