Don't be shy, have some confidence. We love guys like that. But don't be too arrogant either.
Compliment her on what she's wearing, maybe a cool design on her shirt or maybe she's wearing your favorite color.
Make her laugh. If you can make her laugh, you can keep a conversation going for a long time :)

I'm good on all that. I need a way to initiate the conversation. I've done this before, but usually I'd just say, "Hey I'm Anon, what's your name?" Or something like that.

You don't always have to start with names. Try to spark an interesting convo and then, "oh I'm [name] btw, nice to meet you"

^^did same for my current gf (2 years now). I want to add though, don't go over board on the compliments and establish a connection with her; ask about her likes, dislikes, etc and share yours but in a subtle way...
