We killed Atheon.
We killed a hive God, and his father.
We killed the Kell of Kells.
What Fallen are we supposed to kill in this DLC? Because if he's not a God or something, it's going to be easy for guardians, right?
Guardians became so powerful that it's hard for me to think about lore and a Fallen boss.
I'm just saying this because people are supposing that this is the new DLC and we'll finally get a Fallen raid, and since we are god-slayers, it would be dumb to fight against a kell as the final boss of the game.
Edit: I know Skolas is not the actual kell of kells.
I know about the House of Kings.
My point is: we could beat a freaking hive god, so it would be easy to kill a kell in destiny universe.

The next big update was original called "Vex" and maybe we get a new raid. Why I'am thinking so: In the book of sorrow are some words about, how the vex come to this world.
Crota used his Sword and made a hole beyond room and time and the vex coming through this hole. The vex simulate a kind of Oryx or crota to understand and beat them but they don't understand their darkness.
But know their iron, the vex will come back.

1 RespuestaTo be fair we went after the gods weakness which is apparently black exploding balls. If we didn't know his weakness we'd be -blam!-ed. Mr. God slayer go tell a level 45 dreg how powerful you are I dare you
-
We killed a god who drops us a relic to help kill him.
-
Nothing in this game makes sense except the mindless grind
-
It's just a game..chill.
-
1 RespuestaWe defend the wall alongside saladin and his wolves against waves of enemies, every 10th wave a taken version of a raid boss will appear. An inside source at bungo told me so.

2 RespuestasDatBoi raid

Editado por SolarCerberuS: 5/23/2016 9:18:36 AMThe game is into its second of ten years I really dont think what we have seen so far is going to compare to whats in store (hopefully) I would like to think that by the end of the 10 years a raid is not able to be completed in a matter of mere hours the rewards are actually worth it and minimum 24 man (4 fireteams) to do it.
-
The Fallen theme is just a rumor at the moment. It hasn't been confirmed (even by the might Kotaku) just theorized. In any case, nothing in Destiny's 'story' makes any sense.
-
3 RespuestasYo if you follow the lore of the game you would know we only killed one of the four Servitor gods. And they might bring more Kelly in the story. Just be happy for new content man. Why does everyone cry in the community every time bungie/Activision makes a move on THEIR game. Don't bite the hand that feeds you
-
3 RespuestasI hope its something like "TLOTR The two towers" where we have to defend the city walls from a fallen invasion with a fireteam of 12. That would be epic!
335+ light, TTOM, spindle and NO kids
-
1 RespuestaNow here's my million dollar question.
will bungo reset our gear back to 170? 🤔
-
It was only a god to the hive, that doesn't mean oryx was an actual god. It might be cool we might have to face waves of fallen on earth or maybe they brake into the city, ether way I think it'll be sweet I mean hey we started on earth why not finish destiny 1 there.
-
1 RespuestaSure it does. Fallen dlc kicks off yr3 with a small vex dlc in march 2017. Finish destiny 1 off with an update/cinematic of cabal destroying the tower and city as a setup for destiny 2!
-
The point of DLC isn't to keep one upping the bad guy you just beat. The House of Kings are a more than credible threat - well known that they're the most formidable Fallen House but yet we still don't know much about them barring the fact that they use the House of Devils to their own advantage. I wouldn't mind the House of Kings or a Cabal invasion as the next DLC.

3 RespuestasI personally am of the opinion that, though we are fairly powerful as guardians, we just keep getting lucky that we can outsmart our enemies. Throughout all of the raids we've done, there were mechanics that allowed us to defeat the most powerful of enemies. These mechanics are meant to destroy us in the lore, but we improvise and turn each enemy's weapons against them. Atheon tried to scatter us through time, but we got lucky and the relic that was created by Kybr was there to save us, and allow us to return and attack Atheon. Crota would have easily killed us if it wasn't for the fact that his minions had swords that could hurt him. Oryx sent light-eater ogres after us, but didn't anticipate us using the blights that they left behind to damage him. Skolas was our bitch and we could have killed him easily at any time. He was only moderately difficult because Variks likes to be a prick and make things difficult. I think that there won't be one particularly powerful enemy in this raid, but an enemy that is just as smart as we are and has the foresight to see that we can take advantage of anything and everything we possibly can to defeat even gods. Such an enemy would have contigencies upon contingecies that would work to thwart our every attempt to defeat them. It would be a battle of intelect as much as actual power.
-
What if the Rise of Iron is Lord Saladin leaving the light and turning to the darkness and you need to fight the lords of iron. Lord Saladin could have hidden powers and be a final raid boss. That would sure be a plot twist. I'm actually hoping that this is the case.
-
4 RespuestasI was kinda hoping for a cabal raid, even though they seem even less threatening than the fallen.
-
1 RespuestaI think this might be more focused on the history of things, hence the more or less obscure Iron Banner references and junk. To be honest, I'd much prefer a Cabal DLC, considering there were all those references to Cabal "outside our solar system". I don't know about you, but I'm kind of tired of more Hive and hearing Eris' voice. I'd be so down for a Fallen Raid. And who knows, the raid goal might not be a singular boss. What if it was to take out an entire Fallen house?
-
2 RespuestasWhat about fallen guardians? The traveller was with them before...
-
1 RespuestaPeople actually play this for the story? As long as the fallen raid has great loot and some cool but challenging mechanics I give zero -blam!-s about its lore.
-
It's actually quite pointless to have another expansion because like you said, how guardians became God Slayers. And also we have been wasting probably more than 100 dollars just to get the game, expansion and then the taken king expansion.

Editado por GameNerd300: 5/23/2016 6:49:00 AMWe still have House Kings I believe.
just saw your edit. I get what you were saying though.
2 RespuestasJudging from the size of the wall, and the big gaping hole, I'd say the boss could be a massive Fallen siege engine, possibly piloted by a Skolas-like character. It would probably mean breaching a hole in the thing, fighting past all the guards/traps/bosses to get to the command center. Might be real interesting if they added a time limit to the whole raid, though.
-
Hopefully we get to replay parts of the battle of twilight gap and fight alongside Shaxx and Saladin, that would be amazing.

5 RespuestasFrom what I've understood the House of Kings is more powerful than what we've encountered thus far. We've only dealt with them once and from that encounter it seemed they were only pretending to be in talks with Skolas since it turned out to just be an ambush. Perhaps they were just testing us. They are the scheming house. There's also House Rain which we just assume we're lost in the Whirlwind. No one seems to know. Finally there is House Judgement. Maybe it's just me, but I don't trust Variks. He could be up to a lot more than we know.
