Ok so a week and a half ago I got pushed and fell hard and my shoulder felt funny afterwards. My stupid self then played baseball and dodgeball. The pain originates in the right side of my right shoulder and hurts when I either put my arm across my body or raise it upwards. Now I have started taking Advil, it's a constant throbbing pain, and I think it's a bit swollen.
Edit: it's most likely a muscular sprain or tendon sprain.

On the bright side, at least you'll get to see the inner workings of a glue factory.
seriously though... Doctors. Lol
Just go to your doctor, or the hospital.

Sounds like you strained a ligament.
-
You sprained or dislocated your shoulder most doctors can fix that pretty quickly but don't try to relocate your own shoulder if it is dislocated because you could relocate it wrong then you'd have to go to the hospital and doctors will have to re dislocate your arm and put it in the right spot again
-
Just wait it out

5 RespuestasIt's most likely your Rotator cuff, it should heal on its own just try not to sleep directly on it

My brother broke his collar bone after falling off his bike. You never know but it doesn't hurt to get checked out.

3 RespuestasIt could also be something wrong with your lebrum tendon. I hurt mine years ago working out and it was a pain exactly like youre describing. I couldnt lift my arm past 90 degrees in front or to the side without significant tension pain. I eventually found out that i had torn my tendon. If it stays painful to do those movements for more than a few weeks, you should see a doctor about it. If it is torn, it will take a minor surgery to repair.

I'm afraid you have a debilitating injury and you'll never be able to walk again. My condolences.

1 RespuestaA while ago doesn't really help much.

Just get it checked out. I tore two ligaments in my shoulder once. Trust me you'd know. It's probably a minor tear if anything.
-
You've gone to snap city fam.
-
I tore 3 ligaments in my shoulder falling once. If you tore a ligament badly you would know. Could be a minor tear though. People always assume it's the rotator cuff but a lot of times it isn't. You should et it checked bro

I heard spade broke his shoulder shooting a nerf gun, you could probably ask him
-
I'd say your first mistake was throwing a dodgeball while your shoulder was sore. Try icing it, then put icy hot on it. Don't do any motions such as throwing or reaching up high.
-
Try applying ice

Know what's good for shoulder pain?...

5 RespuestasExtend your arm straight out in front of you. Have somebody stand perpendicular to you and apply downwards pressure to your wrist. Attempt to hold your arm straight. Does that hurt? I struggle with a rotator cuff injury, and I will likely struggle with it for the rest of my life or until I get an operation. I initially experienced pain similar to what you described.
-
Probably sprained it or popped the shoulder out though i doubt the latter. I did something to my shoulder and it is almost exactly as you describe it. Took me like 6 weeks to get back to playing rugby

I don't know if you dislocated it. If you can move it around and don't have to force it to move them you're fine. I've fell on my arm/shoulder hard and it felt weird but it was okay. I don't know exactly what you did. You could've just like popped it or bruised it. When I say pop I don't mean out of place, I mean when you hear it pop and it hurts real bad. It should start feeling better soon.
