You mean making extended mag useful and making field scout what it should have been; holding more ammo?

I assumed extended mag was a weaker version of field scout, just like how fitted stock was a weaker version of perfect balance.

Considering how they nerfed Ext. Mag at the same time as field scout... seems more to me like they were making a push for their new perks that have all kinds of tradeoffs.

Extended mag was still useful since not every weapon would get field scout. All they needed to do is remove reforging of weapons.

So was ext mag, but it was worse. No perk should be worthless bc another does the same, just more

Raid weapons. And there were almost always better options, so no it wasn't used

Raid weapons had field scout. Is that bad? Why? Extended mag increases mag size but no one would use it according to you. OK whatever you say.

I never used extended mag bc field scout added to the mag and overall ammo. It was better in every way

Well it was bad inherently compared to other perks, but field scout invalidated it

Why was it bad? You haven't really explained why because you can't. Having an increased mag is very useful. Field scout would not make it useless because you would not have the option to choose it over extended mag!

Stability on most scout rifles, for example, is fine without any perks. You would want another perk, like increased mag size, and not all of them had to have field scout. They can have extended mag.
