I notice the ninjas here ban who they want to ban and not those who deserve it sometimes. What do you think?

Anything that goes against their personal opinion is a potential offense. Basically just Super Trolls but instead of arguing over the Internet, they ban people who they disagree with.
-
Nah. Most of the people who deserve it get it. No matter who from what I've seen. Of course, the do ban people for stupid things.
-
People that have been around a long time and have a good relationship with the community and ninjas/mentors can get away with a little more. Does that mean that they won't get banned? No. People that go a long time and obey the rules deserve to be given a break every once and a while.
-
Obviously? They're human. Look at the bans and lack of bans for using "fgt" in any capacity.

Editado por tjustie: 5/17/2016 8:25:08 PMAs long as the supposed ninja favoritism works out in my favor, it's all good.

1 RespuestaNo, they'll ban anyone. Like, who PM bans BioSmiley? No one is safe ;-;
-
I got pm banned for saying bitch. I have been banned ~20 times for saying or quoting someone else who also said fg*, while others including said people I quoted got away with it They are extremely biased

13% of the poll is Ninjas

Once you get banned once you're being watched.

I don't think so, no. But I do think that moderation decisions are based on a number of things. One of which being the mod's familiarity and history with the person they're considering action against. If that person has a long history of rule breaking, then "gut call" decisions will most likely not work out in that person's favor. Whereas someone with who's been around a while with little incident may be given the benefit of the doubt in some cases. But that has little to do with how that mod personally feels about the user. Just gives the mod a little better understanding of the person's intentions.
-
I'm pretty damn sure some do.
-
For example when 5 users are joking between each other by insulting each other but only one got banned. Or a threat full of girls in underwear and only one post got banned. Even if others mosted alot and this guy posted one. I think it applies. There is nothing you can do but wait for the ban to stop.

4 RespuestasNo. Ninjas ban everybody who breaks the CoC. Even though you think it's a minor violation, it's not up to you. Their interpretation is what matters. If you don't want to get banned, don't insult people, don't joke about violent crimes, don't threaten, don't discriminate, etc. It's not hard to follow.

4 Respuestas1. Are Ninjas people? Yes. 2. Do people play favorites? Yes. 3. Therefore, Ninjas play favorites.
*waits for someone to call out the fallacy*
1 RespuestaIt's completely stupid how you can get banned for saying desticle but not get banned for saying you burn Jews and Bing completely racist
-
1 RespuestaOf course. It's completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Ninjas are supposed to keep the peace and set an example. Banning someone for things that aren't disrespectful isn't alright. Banning people for words that aren't even bad? I hope they realize 12 year olds who play games curse and say "I ****ed your mother last night." I get warnings for certain words. Other words no. I administrated multiple FTB servers, similar rules to here. We actually enforce the rules as we are supposed to. Not on our understanding. We have to report the ban for feedback on what other admins think. Just curious you ninjas, no harm intended, do you guys have discussions about bans?

Everyone has a favorite even if they break the rules 24 times.
