guns/weapons can be an object of mass destruction but are pretty harmless without a user, but when people with their own agendas, fears and idiocy take ahold of those weapons, the media will put the blame on the person and more on the gun companys if anything happens.[spoiler]i don't support owning a gun just i as i dont support baning them, people just need self control[/spoiler]

13 RespuestasI'm assuming this is about the second amendment? There is a reason government can't just get rid of it. The right to bear arms was put in place by the founding fathers as a last resort, should a tyrannical government take over. Meaning that it was designed as a countermeasure to ensure government didn't overstep it's bounds. The very act of the government revoking the second amendment should be a scary thought.

68 RespuestasBad comparison. Guns are a form of self-defense. Stripping guns and making them illegal won't make the wrong doers with guns say, "Oh shit. Now guns are illegal. Better turn mine in... So much for that school shooting I was planning". The bad guys will always get their hands on guns. Legal or not. Taking guns will only decrease the protectors who have guns who can stop the crimes.
