Bungie should allow a tag next to the open symbol so everyone knows what you want to do, CoO, KF, CoE, strikes, ect. It would make it much easier to meet up quickly in game and cut down on the random messages in the tower.
Edit: specifically I think when you set your fire team to public you would be able to enter a tag either from a list or just a short line of free text that would show up on your emblem in the menu instead of the current door/arrow thing that shows up now
Edit 2: Topic is trending maybe bungie will notice
Edit 3: I thought this would be a good idea instead of matchmaking for CoE and would be useful for other game modes too. If CoE is matchmaking then you get people afk and that's a pain. If you have a fire team the leader can boot them

1 RespuestaThis is a much better idea than matchmaking. This gives the ability to have a fireteam leader so afk or shit players can be weeded out, and hooks you up with local people in your timezone.

2 RespuestasEditado por Kone19ps: 5/13/2016 4:11:27 PMI thought they should use that as the matchmaking mechanic. Set to public and you matchmake whatever activity you're in. Private or friends only and you don't. Then even story missions people could drop in

4 RespuestasDon't see it happening... at least not the free text part, but probably not any of it... Bungie won't let us talk to each other because of the Teen rating. They surely won't let us have free text, even with filters. It will be the genital-shaped-emblems of Halo all over again... or the various off-color 4-letter call signs of Halo. It doesn't matter how much they limit, people would find a way to creatively abuse it in a way that can effect that T rating.

nice! bump

This is genius! Let's be sure Cozmo notices but doesn't notice it too much so he doesn't put the idea on the wish list so it actually has a fighting chance.

1 RespuestaGreat idea! This should be a thing..lets keep this going! Maybe not the best place to talk about it though...maybe in the feedback forums?

1 RespuestaGreat idea. You get so many random invites when you go to the tower something that proclaims your intent via spot check and the ability to join a public roster would be awesome. Imagine...you wanna do a nightfall and you have no one on; you go to the tower, hang out with your fireteam open and boom! 2 people can join. It would be also cool if depending on the activity it sets the amount of slots that could be filled I.e. nightfalls=2 spots minus yours, raids and the like 5 spot minus etc. Great idea bro.

Great idea this way we can lfg in game and look @ stats right there and then.
-
1 RespuestaI suspect that Bungie are saving in-game lfg, custom games, and a bunch of other oft requested qol stuff for Destiny 2 as big selling points. Good idea, though.
