I'm sitting here on Venus at the Citadel. In spawns the two level 20 Axis Minotaurs. I bust my golden gun and take a shot at one of them. You know what happened then? It broke his shield and took about half his life in damage. I had to shoot him again with GG just to kill him.
This is pitiful.
I'm level 40 at 332 light.
Against a level 20 Minotaur! Wtf!?!?
Cozmo, how can the devs sit there and tell me that this is acceptable?

It's a dying subclass and nothing is being done to help it. It is my favorite hunter subclass, but I don't get to use it often because Nightstalker is SO much better. It makes meh sad. *Defenders don't technically get an armor boost but their super pretty much does it for them.

It makes No sense why the Hunter class is so fluffing weak in PVE or why our guardians at max lv and light(or near max light) take sooo much dmg especially from melee attacks Especially when our enemies are 1-39 lvs weaker than our guardian, even when the light requirement is 260 if we are over 300+ light how or why are we taking so much fluffing dmg ??? it's bullshft Cozmo how in the name of hades does this make any sense to the devs. Why do they even allow this dibachry think about it what's the point of all this leveling and grinding if in the end there is NO progress accomplished? in PVP it doesn't really matter but in PVE it does!! I for one purchased Destiny on the promise that this was suppose to be a PVE oriented game which it has not

1 RespuestaThe whole Light system is broken. An extremely-low level enemy can still destroy you with ease, and an enemy that's only four levels above you practically fires a Gjallarhorn with every shot. Do it like Borderlands and Skyrim, guys. Make leveling useful.

4 Respuestas1. You are talking about one of the highest health enemies in the game. Axis Minotaurs and Reaver (Fallen) Captains are basically one step BELOW a boss at their particular level. That enemy that you're complaining about having to take two GG shots to bring down....also took to GHorn shots to bring down. In the PoEs...the Reaver Captains could withstand unloading ALL six rounds from a Max Light Found Verdict (shotgun) at close range. 2. GG is a super that is designed to take out single, high-value targets. If you want a super that's designed ttake out multiple targets at once.....play as your Nightstalker.

wow really i was gonna say that warlocks only have one super at the moment while the other two are complete sh!t but now... now i want to rant about how hunters supers not being able to kill its not like there no other class anyway

5 RespuestasIf you have not figured it out by now, certain classes play better in certain areas of the game. In Year 1, the hunter was the crucible king (hence why the vast majority of the top 100 crucible players ran [u][b]Hunters[/b][/u]). GS and BD were PvP wrecking balls, and "meh" in PvE. Sure, the classes found their niche in that half of the game (BD's became the sword bearers by default in CE for example), but overall these two classes really found their home against other guardians. Fast foward to Year 2, and the introuction of the NS subclass, and you found one of the best PvE classesin the game. You need orbs, teammates in a Raid? No problem - I got a spare arrow right here [b]#endlessorbs[/b]. The class has also exploded in the crucible as well, but there is no doubt that Bungie designed the NS as a support subclass, much like the Sunsinger (believe it or not) and the Defender. So, the fact that a shot from your GG does not kill a level 20 minotaur is inconsequential (as well as displays your unfamiliarity with the game design - you are tiered down to that minotaur, not 20 lvls higher) given that your GG can two shot a titan bubble (and leave an extra bullet for the guy that popped it), stop a BD in his tracks, shut down a SC without any issues, take the head off a VW mid nova (wth the exception of the certain exotic perk...), insta-drop a self-rezzing SS in no time flat, and cripple a SB mid hammer time (post nerf). The only super a GS can not shut down is a Striker with Unstoppable.

2 RespuestasNot sure the why there's panic for Buffy thr gunslinger. It one hit kills me in pvp every time. You could make it a million times stronger and it's still a one hit kill. Buff the hell out of it! Why you're at buff the void walker triple bomb and make it 3 shots like hunter. And for the love of god roll back some of of the brutal nerfs to the sunbreaker already

The game had gone from fun, balanced combat in the beta to stupid shit like majors taking 2 full clips of my suros to kill (now that my light is up to 333). We actually get progressively less powerful/less fun gameplay as we level up our light. Seems to me like the people who made the game and understand how pve math interacts with weapons and powers are not actually involved with any of the weapon/power/perk balancing, and the people 'balancing' these things now are ignoring the impact on PVE entirely. The whole game feels broken now.

17 RespuestasAnd not just supers. Guardians are just generally pathetic in PvE now. Grenades, melee attacks, weapons, armour... Separate PvE from PvP bungie. To hell with Jon Weisnewski and his crap about all parts of the game feeling the same to players. They don't now. PvE mobs and bosses never got nerfed. Weapon damage isn't even remotely the same between PvE and PvP. The game outside of your limited maps of crucible is TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

Load up NF, right before going into the tunnel and try meleeing everything out side XD. Level 11 enemy takes more then 1 hit before the NF really begins I am level 40 331 light....wtf. Or is it just me XD
