So fusions dominated in last IB apparently.
Anyone else feel a nerf inbound?!

That's bungies graph, also they said that fusions were the most deadly secondary this ib.
Equip rates went up 59% and the kills with them went up by 51%
With the elevated vision being the deadliest fusion. I'll be looking for one of those

1 RespuestaI used Fusion Rifles much more in the last IB compared to previous IBs. Used the Thesan, Ashravin's and the Susanno on my Hunter, Titan and Warlock respectively. Found more instances to get kills with them instead of the other specials.

I used a fusion rifle but only saw one other guy using one. Whenever I see fusions in endgame pvp (rarely), I am actually happy to be killed

This iron banner I used a fusion rifle, but barely remember being killed by one. It helps that their ammo capacity wasn't nerfed like shotguns/snipers. And they give damn satisfying kills.

Yup. I used a second fusion this time. I usually just use telesto and maybe plan c. This time I used the sweet roll thesan the gunsmith brought me.

Anyone know the usage % before? I'm guessing it's low, so a 59% increase doesn't mean that 59% of people playing used them, it just means that % more than usual used them. Though, their ability to kill quickly is a little bit of a different stat. I found myself unable to consistently one burst, I'm guessing due to burn defense perks on armor, so use of my thesan, susanoo and panta rhei was spotty. That said, I suck at PvP, so I may not be the best example.

Because Telesto is such a weird niche weapon, no one expects the strategy... It needs a bit more punch from a distance or less spread to be viable other than stuffing around...

2 RespuestasI didn't notice anywhere in the report where it states that "fusions dominated in the last IB". It simply shows that fusions statistically "proved more effective than other special weapons". That is an entirely different statement.

All i saw in IB were red glares and slide shottys. Only fusion rifle i got killed by was a sleeper :)

I use a fusion as my secondary more than a sniper these days in PVE but during IB I got done by shotgunners, and probably snipers (and certainly MIDAs) way more than by fusion rifles. I found my fusion to be about the best defence to shotgun rushers though.

5 RespuestasIf there were 10 people that used them last iron banner, a 60% increase would only be 6 people...so just because it went up by a large % doesn't mean a lot of people used them. [spoiler]they didn't [/spoiler]

I used and wrecked with them in IB great for taking on shotgun rushers and doctrine abusers
