Why i cant play a Strike the Normal way anymore?
Why is every F.... Kid Running thru the whole strike only to get as fast as possible to the Boss? i want to play a Shooter not a Running Simulator. since many New Players came,especially jung ones,there is no real teamwork anymore. the have full raidgear from carries but hide in almost every strike bossfights in cheese spots,Really? Is this whats Destiny become. I Report Minimum 10 Players a Day for Skipping all encounters in strikes and not helping the others in strikes and let them alone with all the stuff. When you want to FARM STRIKEs then do it with a fireteam but please leave us Puplic Matchmaking Strike Players alone. Because i cant even Play a Strike the way it is intended. I hope Bungie is programming Strikes in the Future the way where you have to kill all Enemies in the Area before you can go to the next section. And to the People who actually play the way its intented and Help you are the Best.

2 RespuestasI've been blazing through the shield bros strike trying to get the maulers gauntlets but for 1 I select the strike from the map and for 2 i kill as much as I can. Still can't get those damn things.

Have been around since late vanilla/early tdb, (I can't remember which) but I still make sure to clear every add and slay anything moving along the way. If I run a strike, which I seldom do anymore, I still want to enjoy everything this game has to offer.

When I play strikes, I generally kill all the enemies excluding ones in normal patrol areas

1 RespuestaYou should find other people who want to play like you do. That's why there's friends lists, groups, clans, etc. Blaming the majority for not wanting to play like the minority isn't going to get you anywhere. I'd prefer it if everyone stood back in patrol and loot cave like they're supposed to, but they all just run around stopping the enemies from spawning; so they should....be reported...right? In every "MMO", using that term loosely, the entire community usually ends up skipping the 'trash mobs' that are skip-able because it saves you half the time. Now, why would you need to save that time? It's the way the game rewards you. The best rewards are at the end of the strike. You even get better rewards for completing multiple strikes in a row. So if you can finish 7 strikes in an hour skipping mobs, you'll find better rewards than if you only finished 2 in that same timeframe

To be honest, I do this a lot on strikes I don't want to do.. I understand why you'd be upset if you want to shoot and kill everything on the way to the boss... I just have done the same strikes over and over so many times.. All I want is to finish the strike so I can move on to a strike that I actually want to do. It's better than having teammates going to orbit all together and having to wait for new team members..

Die. As soon as they start running. You don't get kicked if you're a ghost, wait till they get to the boss, spawn, stick a couple of bullets in the boss. Free loot. I just did it on Malok and got 2 legendaries. Maybe there's something in this "not playing the game" thing. Going to do it again in a minute.

Can you please block me aswell? I don't want any of those noobs, who kill every single enemy for no reason, on my team. I have better things to do. Go find some friends if you don't wanna play like everybody does. As a matter of fact YOU are the one not cooperating. YOU are the one holding back your team. In the end it is YOU who should be reported.

What exactly are you reporting them for? The point of a strike is to take out the boss, if they run through it that isn't exactly breaking any "rules". If you have such a big problem just leave if you don't like the way others play a game they purchased the rights to play.

I ran with a guy last night who knew every shortcut, cheez, and run through. It was great, we were knocking strikes out left and right. You still get to kill stuff its just at the final boss. I would rather kill 5 bosses in an hour than 2 or 3.

Honestly though, if you're going to report players for wanting to complete an activity that has already been done 50 to 100 times over, by now, why are you solo queuing for Strikes? Get a group of friends or gone on LFG to find a group that wants to take their time. Don't ruin other players reputations by reporting them because you can't keep up or play a certain way. Not to sound rude, but you're the minority on this topic. I don't want to take my time when I've already completed the Dust Palace Strike over 100 times. I'm going to sure as hell kill the Elites I need to to open the doors and get through to the boss fight, then nuke the bosses every time. Strikes should not take any longer than 10 minutes if you're with an efficient team running through them.

1 RespuestaI will always try to bypass anything I don't have to fight in strikes until the day comes where I can play for a few hours and not repeat a strike. You may like the monotony of replaying the same content over and over and over again but I don't. So if I can skip it I will.

"Normal" is a relative term. Maybe to someone else, you sitting in the first room of the strike killing trash mobs is unhelpful. Point being, stop trying to force your play style on other people because it's what you want. If you want to play through the entire strike and kill every single thing there is, maybe YOU should bring the full FT. Otherwise, I'll see you at the boss when his life total is just about a sliver. Enjoy your easy completion. Oh, and if it was actually what "they intended", why would they allow you to skip past the majority of the trash fights?
