Yes yes yes, I can already see all these bullsh*t salty comments now.
Alright, lets get into this. The precious Hawkmoon finally got a buff.
People are saying dumb sh*t like:
"HAWKMOON NEW META!"
"HAWKMOON IS GOOD AGAIN!"
"EVERYONE NEEDS A HAWKMOON! IT'S TOO GOOD NOW!"
STFU! PLEASE! It was already a fantastic gun before it got buffed. Some people were just to stupid to realize it. Everyone always said stuff like "Hawkmoon wasn't good before the buff." You are so damn wrong. I used that gun 24/7 before it got buffed. It was an absolute beast. Now it is even more of a beast. Which is good but if you people actually took the time to learn how to use the Hawkmoon back before the buff you would of realized it didn't need anything but an accuracy buff. I am happy it got 10 extra range but for gods sake please stop saying stuff like it was terrible or nonviable before the buff.
It is legitimately pissing pre-buff hawkmoon users off.
While I was creating this thread I searched up "Hawkmoon" on youtube. All the retarded "high skill" pvpers are saying dumb a** sh*t like "HAWKMOON IS BACK!" or "RETURN OF THE GREAT HAWKMOON!"
Please... Just stop... It was a VERY viable weapon before the buff. Just stop saying it is OP or it is the new "meta"... It isn't the meta. 1 simple range and accuracy buff made the gun much better but it isn't the new meta and it isn't "NEW" at all. I thought the hawkmoon was good before the buff to it. I couldn't of imagined it on PS4 in year 1...

I'm a user of the Hawkmoon its a fun weapon, I don't get why people b*tch about it or saying its the new meta... *sigh* people these days
-
1 RespuestaSo... The Hawkmoon was a "beast" before the patch. But now it's more of a "beast" afterwards, and you're making a complaint about it. Lolwut?
-
1 RespuestaThis is such a hipster complaint. " I used hawk moon before it was cool. Now all the simpletons have made it to mainstream man".

Editado por Killapatch: 5/3/2016 7:49:30 PMThe hawkmoon was good when ttk came out, when 2.1 came out they nerfed the range greatly and the bonus damage. Coming from a skilled pvper, I can tell u that hawkmoon wasn't viable in competitive pvp. Too many bullets missed because of the low range and the shitty bloom/cone effect hand cannons have. The range buff has made it a lot more viable because u can actually land shots. Before ur sight would be on an enemy and ur shots wouldn't register. Tbh they should get rid of the bloom/cone effect on hand cannons
-
Hawkmoon was not viable after the second to last patch until now.
-
3 RespuestasIt did suck, the phantom billets were too much for it to be viable.
-
I can agree. I don't mind the buff, but it was still a deadly gun even before the buff.
-
7 RespuestasJeez man, calm down. The rage is real.

2 RespuestasI'm glad it got some more time to shine though I got killed by a two shot fairly often which got very annoying. I feel like hawkmoon shows just how fickle the community is to overuse. Thorn was almost fine before its newest nerf. It needed one headshot not the two it requires now making it so pitiful of a gun to use. In comparison we have hawkmoon. Since it lacks the dot mechanic which is just hated and it wasn't on both systems in its prime it is seen with a lot of community love. Personally I think the lucky shots are just as bullshit as the thorn dot. I was enjoying hawkmoon being a close range melter of a gun before and while it was fun to use now clearly the community wanted a handcannon scout rifle again. I'm sure I'm a minority but while I can appreciate the love for hawkmoon and wanting it back I don't think it's very balanced how it is. Maybe I'm just unlucky but the two shot is a regular occurrence for me. That frustration on top of snipers tanking headshots is really getting to me. Maybe I just miss old school halo but my last few matches was just sniper, super, grenade, super, sniper, spin the roulette. It's getting boring and annoying dying in one or two hits all the time.

Wtf did I just read? You realize they nerfed hawkmoon like twice before they buffed it again in April All hand cannons need a range buff
-
I loved it before the buff but man was it hard to aim. Right now I feel that it is in the perfect spot as far as balancing is concerned.
-
In Iron Banner at least, Hawkmoon was not a big deal. Someone catches you in a tight hallway with one you're going to pay - and you should. Out in the open, scouts, pulses, and auto rifles own it. I remember the year one Hawkmoon. I knew the year one Hawkmoon. This, sir, is not a year one Hawkmoon. ;)
-
Hawk moon was part of the holy trinity in year one(Thorn, TLW, Hawkmoon), all hand cannons got Nerf pre year 2. Hawkmoon got a big hit with the range nerf. Now is better than the nerfed version but no near as godly as it was in year one when Hand Cannons where at their best.
-
2 RespuestasI love the hawkmoon my favorite back in year one i stopped using it because i was missing shots to the head i tested it out on rumble with my friend i was getting phantom bullets sometimes.
-
Chill dude. People are excited, it's usable to them. Let them be.
-
Editado por Slain: 5/2/2016 3:34:37 AMIt was an alright gun after 2 nerfs. After a slight rebuff, it's pretty good.
-
It still has phantom bullets ad can get wrecked by a doctorine even if your outside its range. That being said, HCs still suck for the most part. You can't really look at one exotic, see that it's good and forget about all the other ones in the game.

accuracy was fine , the ammo reserve was crap
