Snipers DO NOT TAKE SKILL!
With the high aim assist, no Descoping, any actual flinch . Anyone can use a Sniper in Destiny. And be effective.
[u]Descope[/u] If you're actually good with a Sniper, this drawback you effect you at all. (Hopefully this would be exempt from PVE)
[u]Aim Assist[/u] We all know it makes sniping easy in Destiny. Ever heard a Sniper say - they want Hidden Hand for their sniper? because they can't snipe for shit without it. Wondering why everyone wants a LongBow Synthesis = High aim assist sniper.

If they took skill, explain how everyone is able to use them. ~ Used this a Source because It's proof of how "overused" Snipers are, if I had sources of how frequent they are used in Other gametypes I would. Arguing Trials is geared for Snipers is invalid, considering Clash/Every Gametype is a Snipefest.

Remember how many times shotguns were nerfed before people stopped using them. The specials are overused in pvp, they have no limitations, nothing to make them special when they can be used as primaries. p.s. I've also noticed something on the forums... Dis shotguns and everyone agrees with you (still do now). Dis snipers and everybody hates you. Hmm...

2 RespuestasIt's whatever, people just use what they find to be effective. If snipers are annoying you in a match, learn to counter with your own sniper, or do it with a Scout, or (my personal favorite) simply stop rushing sniper lanes.

People dont want longbow for aa. Most people want it for variety. If you wanna change aim assist, then change it for all guns from handcannons to machine guns

I disagree. The trials percentage is pointless. As anyone who plays it will know very few ppl like to rush. Ppl tend to hang back and wait for an oppurtunity. They are are gonna be watching you across the map through the scope of their shotgun. If you don't like it then don't play it. Simple as that

While skill is not required to get kills with a sniper having skill with a sniper is possible... it's the same argument of grimore... while having low grimore doesn't mean your bad having high grimore is a pretty good indicator you're good

So wanting hidden hand (which dosent even provide that big of a bonus) is wrong but j bet it's ok to you when everybody wanted shotpackage on their shotguns.

4 RespuestasI have taken out many snipers with a scout rifle. That is how I counter them. I've seen many snipers run and hide when someone is shooting back at them. Players can use what they want. I don't like it when I get sniped in the back but I accept and move on. It makes it easier to not get mad about it.

God you people and aim assist.. There is no bullet magnetism. There is no just scope and the reticle will be on the persons head. Look at Mtashed video. Look at TVs video. Hell a lot of people prefer a low aim assist sniper. It's takes skill to use, and without snipers, the crucible would be absolutely full of shadestepping, shoulder charging shotgunners. There's a lot of tactics involved that you have know like double peeking, dragscoping, and others. Before you bash it cause you're pissed you keep getting sniped, think a little.

4 RespuestasHow did you (I'm just assuming it was you in the video) miss that second shot? 1) sniping apparently takes no skill so surely you'd hit your target? 2) snipers aim assist aim for you, then how did you miss that second shit if it aims for you? 3)both times you were hard scoping as you came around the corner (I'm not against hard scoping unless your camping back the entire game or if I can literally walk up behind you, dance and kill you without you knowing)

If sniping takes no skill then there should be a picture with my face next to the word failure in webster's dictionary. These things occur in cycles though. I think a lot of players were saying the same thing about shotguns this time last year.

Because no matter how many bullets I'm unloading on snipers these days, they still somehow manage to snipe me through the flinching 90% of the time. It's almost as if they're not flinching at all. Descoping however is an absolutely terrible idea and would make snipers useless. Aim assist could use an across the board reduction honestly. I occasionally flip between my Eirene RR4 and my Her Fury; the difference from the AA is massive and very noticeable. It's much more difficult to land those drag shots with a sniper like Eirene.

It is the [b][u][i]ONLY[/i][/u][/b] special weapon able to kill at all ranges It takes 2 body shots to kill compared to 3-4 headshots with a scout. How big is the hit box for the body compared to the head? Snipers are a scrub weapon that has needed adjustment for months now.
