Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

I busted out my Rangefinder/Hammerforged/Kneepads Felwinter's Lie for a rumble game the other day. It was on Anomaly and I was Titan skating- could get across the map in like 5 seconds. RIP in Peace primary!

Im an average player but quite often do well playing rumble. If you arent a skilled player you can make up for it by being tactical and sneaky. I like to creep up on two players who are in mid shoot out with each other and sneakily finish them both off. This works especially well when going invisible with hunters.

When I go into rumble, it just gets sweaty, most games are decided by 2-3 kills on my side.

I've seen that same TV video, but I have a hard time camping a specific area in rumble. I actually play more aggressively than I do in any other playlist, pushing all over the map. With how fast the score can snowball I feeI like I'm missing out on scoring opportunities by being too stagnant. It doesn't always work, but it's been the most effective play style for me (helped me get that 100 win grimoire.)

Funny thing is I did quite well in Rumble, reminded me of old school Goldeneye. I'd rather have a whole bunch of 1v1 matchups than take the wrong Lane and end up on the wrong side of a 2 or 3 v 1 in Clash.

Yeah, I can do fine in anything but rumble and rift. It's true though about locking a part of the map down for the match. With 5 roaming people it's very common to have multiple people fighting at once instead of just 1v1s. For the double teaming it's better to stay in one spot and use the choke lanes than to have one on each side of you shooting. At least the other two will be shooting each other if you back off. What do I know though, I'm at 5/100 rumble wins lol

It's all about quick reaction time and good decision making. If I enter a room and there are two blips on my radar in opposite directions I have to prenade one, handle the other, then go finish off the first guy. It's not like 6v6 or even 3v3 because every person is an enemy and it's difficult to regen with somebody hitting you every 2 seconds. I suggest you keep at it, though. Mastering rumble (which you will master it given enough time) improves your all around skill in other game types. Everyone gets popped on every once in a while and everyone has their game. Keep with it, it'll pay off.

Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything. Rumble is only testing you. Try not to take competitive seriously. It's the biggest mistake one can make. If you lose control of yourself, you will never make it. Play the way you want. There's no one but you ;)

Completely depends on who you are matched with. I have come in first (very rare!) and then gotten curb stomped the next ten rounds. It will definitely show the real you.

I go through periods of time where I love Rumble and that's basically all I want to play. It really does show true skill, makes sense as to why I'm bad at it looooool

Queued up earlier for Rumble, came in a game that was already in progress where there were 2 red bars in the lead. The top guy had a glorious red connection and was located in France which is about halfway across the world.

I like to move my arena around in a circle and [b]avoid the center[/b] where you will surely be sandwiched and killed. Leader kills are worth more because you keep them out of the game. Deaths aren't penalized so go wild and [b]rack up the kills.[/b] Suicide bombing works well (sticky spawn on death or simmering flames build).
