Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

I really liked the inferno rumble week except for the people that hide around corners with shottys and end your kill streaks, just finish your kills, don't miss, shoot the weaker guy first and kill his shooter for that easy double. The worst part is spawning on the side with no action and by the time you get to the firefight everyone is dead lol

I pretty much only play Rumble if it's the daily match, at least I know I'll get Marks out of it. I've actually won 3 times, I recorded every single time. The last time I won by a postmortem with Fist of Havoc shockwave, it killed the guy that had just killed me to take the lead. Lmao. Came in 3rd today and saw something I haven't seen in a while; there was a player who I couldn't touch. Just stood facing a wall and took 3 blasts from Invective, in the head, at about 3 feet range. No damage. Then another guy killed me. And the player was a yellow bar. First time in a while I've seen a lag switch so obviously in action. (Happy ending- the lagger came in 5th place with 0.46 KD.)

But most who play free for all are generaly going to be more highly skilled

1 RespuestaPlay classic rumble. I always use that mode as a proving ground for new guns/setups. People just tend to play that a bit more casually. There will sometimes be a sweat or two, but I've found it generally better than standard rumble.

I used to love playing rumble. Now it's nothing but a pool of sweat, and it began during the thorn/tlw meta. Now all I see are doctrines with Conspiracy theory or thousand yard. Not exactly fun anymore, except when it's mayhem rumble! Now that shite is fun, unless it's 3+ gunslingers... But then again playing "don't trip the laser" is fun as hell.

Try mayhem rumble shit is so intense. I got more than 20 kills and I think 0 or one death. Best game I've ever had in destiny I think.

I didn't play rumble AT ALL in year one, I was intimidated by it, I eventually tried it, and was very surprised that I was pretty good it... I play all pvp solo, most of the time I'm saving someone else's ass, so I guess at some point I got used to relying on myself...
