Yep, I think this was my 3rd or 4th attempt at playing this playlist? Absolutely and complete garbage.
I couldn't do jack. 5 Kills 16 deaths. I was literally the fodder, feeding kills to the leader. Not exactly encouraging.
Top player, 5.25 KD, completely destroyed the rest of us. Looks like I've been thoroughly spoiled by playing 6v6, where I could at least count on friendly players to provide a distraction at least.
I know this game mode is supposed to teach me how to pick my lanes better, but my god, when some of the best players said this is a brutally honest play list, they weren't kidding.
I'm not even going to blame my load out, which was Mida and a Shotgun (Considered by some or most to be "crutch" or "tryhard" setups). This was downright depressing.
Not sure how some people do it. I think it was Truevanguard who suggested picking an area and locking it down, make it your stomping ground, instead of going around hunting. You're just asking to get double teamed at that point. Will have to remember that, since I found myself constantly getting gunned down in the open and just getting crapped on by everyone in the lobby.
I WILL get better at this darn play list, but god it's going to be a LONG and PAINFUL trek I feel. Guess I better get used to taking it deep and dry, because this isn't going to be a fun walk through the woods.

There are people that play rumble and destroy, but enter a team based match and become no hopers. You know, that guy that is playing Zone Control and runs around getting insane kills, but none of them do bugger all to win the match...

5 RespuestasI think FFA, in any game, takes the least amount of skill of any of the gametypes because it's not about skill, it's about spawn manipulation & exploitation. All you have to do in FFA is patrol 1/6th or 1/8th of the map & "murk fools" when they spawn in, or around, your area. Skirt the area you chose, don't sprint, eyeball the mini map, kill shit, rinse & repeat.

I have a funny story about this. I suck at rumble and everytime I play it I get pretty much destroyed. Yet, when I did the imprecation headshot kills, I got it done first try???? I'm still lost about that to this day.

I used I do love wolves on halo 3 and reach religiously. Can usually hold my own in rumble, except for my First few games when I'm warming up. But I don't like rumble. Too stressful. The very thought of knowing that I have to end the game on my own and get 25 kills is intimidating at times. I've learned to just be really comfortable coming in second or third.

Used to have a 2.0 in rumble. Now it's barely above 1.5 ;-;

I'm not amazing at PvP, but rumble is probably the playlist i do best at.

My rumble history is dam pathetic... It definatly favours an aggressive play style (which aint my game) I tend to stick with objective play lists, that way i dont get too butt hurt...

I'd say I'm an about average pvp player, but in rumble I just wreck shit, and almost always have at least a 1.0 kd

Its the only game mode I can win lol. Not as many snipers.

I used to despise rumble. By now I like it more than anything other than trials. I might even like it more than trials. Maybe the same. Try different loadouts and subclass settings to see what works for you. Don't listen to anyone other than yourself. If you're at bottom with one thing and at top with another...use the other. Regardless of what you read or hear. Just do you.

One minute I'll kick ass the next I'm on the receiving end of the ass kicking. The 2 PVP games I dislike the most are Trials/Elimination and Rift.

I played a match yesterday. Damn, it's a lobby full of hunters including myself, and everyone is going invis. For those of you old enough, it's like the original '87 movie Predator, the slow mo scene where Carl weather's character got his hand lobbed off and his finger is still squeezing the trigger. So afterwards I figure "why not," and joined the ninja party. Managed to get first place.

1 RespuestaTry Inferno Rumble next time it comes around. You can actually run around in it if you are Careful. Mostly because radar doesn't give you away. I played Inferno Rumble 4 times this past Monday. Had one terrible game. Had three good games. Won two of the three. And one of them I got a phantom medal on. Give it a try next time. :)

I played it with the new hand cannon from the COE Stolen Pride and I came in first. I was suprised because I hardly ever win Rumble. I had it paired with Dregs Promise.
