I'm not adding remakes of the games like omega ruby and stuff like that because their pretty much the same. Also games with the same story but different Pokemon, count as one.

Heart gold and soul silver because there were 2 regions
-
Red, blue, yellow --- green can go away OG All the way! If you didn't burn the save battery in those 3 games you don't know Pokemon

For me it's hard. Got Ruby and silver on the same day along with a gameboy advance Sp. I like them both a lot and replay Ruby off an emulator (some fuckboy stole my 3ds a few months ago) at least once a year. I guess I'll say ruby only because i play it more.

4 RespuestasHeart Gold and Soul Silver are easily the best Pokemon games.

1 RespuestaEditado por Tucker: 4/25/2016 10:09:34 PMI realize you say ORAS is a remake of Ruby and Sapphire, which is true, but it's also very much an upgrade. It's not just one of the best pokémon games I've played, it's one of the best games I've played. I don't care if there's too much water. However, if mystery dungeon games were included in the poll, I'd more than likely choose them. I don't cry at emotional scenes in stories, but a select few stories have brought me near that point. Second only to Red vs Blue, PMD most consistently makes me want to cry. And PMD is probably more impressive because they don't keep reusing characters.

Started with gen 1 with the BRICK gameboy. Gen 2 is my favorite though....nostalgia I enjoyed x and y but it was far too easy no grinding required!
-
I may have liked the originals main character the most, but Pokemon silver was just so good.

Pokemon Snap.

Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are the tits.

They are all good. That should be an option.

Probably heart gold and soul silver. I know those are remakes but they added some stuff in it that makes it better and I loved them

2 RespuestasEditado por Gustav: 4/25/2016 11:56:05 AMGen 3 masterrace. Best game though? HG/SS had an insane amount of content. Like, it was ridiculous.

2 RespuestasCall me a new age scrub, but I grew up with Black and White. Ah, the memories. Castelia City, N, the music, and my (to date) favorite Pokemon: Zoroark. A lot of old timers call 5th gen a mistake, but they don't recognize that the first gen created many fúckups too. Grimer is just purple sludge with eyes and arms (I've seen more creativity in a 3rd grade art class). But I guess I'm just as biased cuz of nostalgia :/ Like I said, nostalgia crowns B/W/B2/W2 as my favorites, but I also really like older ones. I actually really love the retro feel.

You aren't adding remakes? Uhh.. that's kinda dumb lol. They aren't really the same thing. In essence, sure, but if you're telling me you'd rather play Red than Firered, I'm laughing at you. Also, my answer is between Fire Red or Liquid Crystal (hacked ROM, better than Silver/Gold/Crystal by a mile). You could've just asked what the best generation is, that's basically what you did tbh.

F*** yeah Gen III!!!

GSC was the best. Come on. We all remember when we crossed over back to Kanto and realized there is an another area to explore. Then there was all the events in the game. Seriously you cant beat those games.
