Look, I've used an ass-ton of special weapons over my time in Destiny. I know. I'm a special whore. Which gives me some leverage when I say [i]they both take a lot of skill to use [b]Effectively.[/b][/i] It takes little skill to place your crosshair at head level in a hallway and wait until someone walks into it like an idiot. It takes little skill to run up and put a shotgun on someone's chest and trade. But to wreck a semi-competent team with either weapon type definitely takes practice. In fact, it is easier to hold a higher K/D with a sniper than a shotgun. But it clearly hasn't helped you... Shotguns spray bullets though so kills r easier unless u use a slug shotgun like the chaperone then fair enough it take a descent amount of skill
