Here's the trick: [b]Complete the Year 1 Prison of Elder Challenge activities.[/b] Doing so you can quickly rack up [b]1350 HoJ rep EVERY WEEK[/b], helping you get those sweet HoJ rank up packages and loot. Here's the math: [u]Lv. 32 Challenge: 275 rep[/u] [i]-Completion bonus: 200 rep -Armor Core*: 75 rep[/i] [u]Lv. 34 Challenge: 400 rep[/u] [i]-Completion bonus: 300 rep -Weapon Core*: 100 rep[/i] [u]Lv. 35 Challenge (Skolas): 675 rep[/u] [i]-Completion bonus: 500 rep -Armor Core*: 75 rep -Weapon Core*: 100 rep[/i] *-In order to get the rep from the Armor and Weapon Core you go to the inventory screen and burn them like a synth. Good luck guardians and enjoy the HoJ loot! :D [i]*For those wondering what the challenges are this week and some quick tips for the Y2 players:* [u]Lv. 32 Challenge: Machine Wrath (Kaliks Reborn)[/u] -Archon Priests will sacrifice their lives to heal Kaliks by getting close to him. -HVT: A Captain high-value-target will show up when Kaliks first drops to 50%-ish health. -Grounded is active; JUMP SPARINGLY. -*Thanks to [b]LoneWolfUndead[/b] for this tip*: Archon Servants spawn at every 25% health increment. [u]Lv. 34 Challenge: Cult of the Worm (Gulrot)[/u] -Gulrot will periodically "Belch" (You're given a warning before he does), that will fill the room with a noxious gas that will immobilize your fireteam. -You can move around in the gas with Swords and certain supers if your stuck in a bad spot. -Named Wizards will spawn during the gas waves to hunt down players. -Exposure is active; watch your health bars guardians! [u]Lv. 35 Challenge: Skolas' Revenge[/u] -Phase 1: Kill the cloaked servitor to drop Skolas' defenses for 20-30 sec. (Timer will appear on-screen) -Phase 2: (triggers when Skolas is at 75% health, prompt will show up on screen & loud chain-breaking noise) -Devouring Essence: Have a teammate take the essence at ten seconds, immunity on first player will have worn off by the time the third player needs the essence removed, continue to swap the essence. -Mines: Dismantle Mines waves will appear when Skolas reaches around 50% and 25% health. -*Thanks to [b]cheffrogary[/b] for this tip*: Swords can block the killing effect of Devouring Essence.[/i] [u][b]Edit:[/b][/u] It seems like the posts already seem to have a trend and that is the time required to accomplish all these activities outweighing the end goal of the xp boost versus just grinding the 42 over and over again. Not everyone can accomplish the 42 yet due to light levels so this is a good way for players who can't to gain some quick HoJ rep. And those that can beat the 42 Prison have the light level to EASILY destroy these challenges in under an hour. for the bosses themselves just tether the boss and unload Sleeper Simulant rounds on them to kill them REALLY quick. At the very least some people have Armor and Weapon cores in their vault or otherwise they can burn for quick rep. [u]Soccerglue[/u] -You can only start gaining HoJ rank up packages once you've reached at least rank 3 with HoJ. So if you are ranking up and not getting anything make sure to check your HoJ rank.
