-
I'm sure someone already said this but they aren't speculation they are theories. And theories explain something with evidence and reason, like gravity, evolution, atoms, etc.
-
Define physical proof. There are actual pictures of black holes and pictures of the universe near the time of the big bang. There are equations that show how matter moves around black holes that have been observed.
-
There are no pictures of black holes
-
There are in fact pictures of Black Holes. Only thing is that Black Holes are so far away that we have yet to get anything other than what would look like a discolored paint chip on a huge canvas, and the amount of time it takes light from dubs long extinguished to fully end it's journey to us takes sometimes countless years. A lot of physics is rooted in mathematics though.
-
Perseus Black Hole has pictures of it.
-
Physical proof? Of course not. Evidence? Absolutely. That's the entire point though, isn't it? God has no legitimate supporting evidence, science does.
-
If you saw a ghost in vivid detail but had no evidence to support your experience, would you deny what you saw? If I've had religious experiences that I can't translate into tangible evidence, does this mean I've had no experience?
-
Maybe not, but it means that other people should not take your testimony as evidence. There's a reason why only reproducible data is considered when making scientific discoveries. I can believe that my cat is an alien, because of my personal experiences with it, but that doesn't mean my belief has any merit whatsoever. Just as I could be mistaken or misinterpreting the evidence, you could be. On a more personal note, you should not believe so strongly in anything based on evidence that nobody else can gather.
-
Evidence? No there's not. Only speculation an theory's
-
Theories are, in science, the highest level of analysis a scientist can develop. They're based on evidence.
-
Evidence? Please tell..
-
If you look into it you'll find it. I'm a lament in physics and on the topic of the Big Bang so I doubt the examples I can give of the evidence will be all that accurate. From my knowledge, a good example would be the detection of radiation in space over a long period of time, noting how energy continues to spread as it's quite apparent that the energy had to expand from a single point. There is also extensive mathematical support for the theory. Like I said, I'm a lament. Most of the evidence I've heard of has unfortunately been forgotten. Like I said, look into the Big Bang theory, because I'm sure you won't find any evidence from Genesis.
-
Space is a theory as we know it. Simple as that.
-
Wut? That doesn't even make any sense. Aren't you the one who claims theories aren't evidential? Does this mean space doesn't exist? Yes, we know space exists. The many phenomena that occur in space I what we document and base our theories on, many a time to learn how the universe works. It's more simple than just "space exists, and that's it!" That was probably the second worst thing I have ever read, right behind chalk proving the existence of God.
-
What the fuck do you think theories are based on?
-
Pre theories and opinions. Space is nothing but a theory that we can't comprehend
-
Scientific theories are based on evidence, that's the point.
-
Jump out a window, gravity is only a theory.
-
But what is Gravity? Can we see it? It could be god pushing us with his force or rainbow unicorn farts holding us down. We can only theorize..
-
Wow. Just wow.
-
You know I'm right. We as humans can't even begin to comprehend some things about space.
-
Good show, you got me. Good bait. No one can actually be this dumb.
