So I played the division on the release. It was the first game of this shooter mmo style and the division really turned me off. Hesitantly I bought Destiny for the first time ever yesterday when a friend convinced me to. Was I shocked, not only did the game "feel" better but, the very first strike was such a great and challenging experince(way better than an "incursion". Even the members of the community sent me messages on xbox welcoming me to Destiny, I was surprised. The little content I completed in 2 hours on destiny was truly more enjoyable and more mechanics than any game I've recently played.

4 RespuestasRun away and turn back now, this is how a casual and fun little video game becomes a life changing grind addiction! Just kidding, welcome to our community kinderguardian ☺

Editado por Halfburied: 4/20/2016 7:23:18 PMThe first strike is a fire starter I remember I enjoyed it as well and ...
was shocked to see that same boss come back at the end of prison of elders quest line
Welcome friend!

Good to hear. I see you made a good start too by doing the refer a friend quest. Quite nice to get that done first ;)

Lucky Mother.... to have waited till almost all problems that plagued the game have been dealt with. If I played it in its current state from day one, just think how awesome that would have been. No loot cave for hours or lvl 29 forever waiting on boots. Oh the horrible memories of Atheon glitches. Welcome to Destiny, hopefully your new best Loved/ Hated game ever.

You are only just beginning... But have fun.
Oh, I almost forgot!

WELCOME TO DESTINY!
Destiny is a wicked game if you can see it for what it is. Like you, I to was convinced by a friend to buy it. I told him to shut up and play cod, but he wouldn't. So I downloaded the demo, played the first mission and landed in the tower. It didn't really seem like anything special at first. But I thought it might be a decent game to complete, and went out and bought it. I got pretty addicted to Destiny, but the content drought fixed that lol. This game gets allot of abuse and it's the game everyone loves to hate. The division is a decent game if you can see that for what it is to, but it's got absolutely nothing on Destiny. Their completely different and can't really be compared, imo.

Yeah, Division is really stale. The incursion was lazy and unimpressive. Wait till you tackle a raid.

Editado por AidanMaslowPhD: 4/20/2016 12:18:42 AMI like Division a lot and still play it, but I kind of feel that absence of an enjoyable endgame and little motivation to continue grinding will lead to me giving it up in a month or so. I really wish Incursions were more like strikes in Destiny. I am only playing the game to get Phoenix Credits at this point and once I buy everything I want, the game will likely be over for me. The expansions do not sound interesting enough to pay $40, so I do not think I will come back to it. The Division is certainly no Destiny. The new update in which it is possible to get to 335 without ever doing a Raid or Trials (I am a solo player) has given me plenty of motivation to grind in Destiny again (after taking 2 months off from the game) and I am loving ever second of it! That is I am still loving it after over 30 days of playtime in Destiny since April 2015.

If you get to level 40, there is a little gap between getting gear, then you get up really quick once your raid level
-
EXACTLY!!! However you will meet many nincompoops here who say that the Division killed Destiny..... We call those people Division Nincompoops

1 RespuestaGlad to hear it! Welcome to Destiny! If you're on Xbox one, feel free to add me. I'll show you the ropes without trying to power level you or rush you through the content. GT: NobodyJustBrad

Editado por IceIcaCM98: 4/19/2016 11:04:58 PMWait till your level 40 and have max light and then you'll start to get a little board. It will start to get sad.
