Let's be honest. No one really cares to check grammar or see that their phone made a typo if they are typing paragraphs on here.
Our audience is not a bunch of collegiate scholars. Half of your audience here is a bunch of middle and high schoolers.
We're all typing on phones with small keys. We are typing like we're just texting someone. Fast and to the point, and hitting post immediately after. Stop acting like it's actually a lack of knowledge.
Edit: I can understand if their point really isn't discernible. However, if it is clear and it's so obvious you can replace that word in your head with the real one... Just chill your shit. There's a good chance they're more intelligent than you anyway.
Edit 2: FireFaux brings up a good point
But what if someone makes a very good point in an argument and spells something wrong? Am I supposed to retort with something else logical even though I'm not informed about the issue and pulled the conversation out of my àss?
In other words most of you nerds use pointing out the typo because you're not intelligent enough to talk about the topic at hand. So you make yourself feel better by pointing out their "misclicks"

2 RespuestasI don't do it, it shows weakness. Like you don't have an argument so you just point out a spelling error.

I will continue to point out typos until I die. It's my duty as an American.

1 RespuestaEditado por PVBeachin: 4/14/2016 11:41:33 AMBy the way, one guy saying he points out mistakes because he can't make an argument doesn't mean that most other people do the same.

Learn English, kiddo.

What if I do it because I KNOW it irritates people?
I know I'm terrible. I'm jumping off a bridge later.
