7hp for dmg over time was great. It wasnt overpowered but it wasnt weak. It preformed exactly as intended to. 3hp for dmg over time was managable, It was a little underwhelming, but ok. But... 1... -blam!-ing... hit point... 1... hit point. Bungie, you might as well remove the mark of the devouer perk becuase 1 hp dmg and 4 ticks is going to do nothing! You completely ruined the most iconic pvp gun ever since y1

Editado por HELP1NG HAND: 4/12/2016 11:51:00 AMIt still halts shield recovery, disables healing abilities like Transfusion and Hungering Blade, and negates exotic recovery perks like the ones found on the Regime, Lord of Wolves, Red Death, the Fabian Strategy, and the Ram. -Which is what it was always meant to do: halt shield recovery for an extended period of time. Dude, its far from useless or weak. It just won't melt people apart with bonus DoT damage anymore. Sorry if that was the only reason why you used Thorn, but its still quite formidable.
-
Agreed. Not fully removing DoT is dumb.
-
7 RespuestasIsn't it gonna be 2 hit points for 4 ticks of damage. That's what it was doing in the Stream???
-
2 RespuestasYou don't need thorn
-
The only thing that I don't like is that now the gun seems balanced but still don't get a year 2 upgrade .... I want to use the thorn in relevant PVE But pvp is holding this gun back

Editado por HyperVigiIant: 4/11/2016 10:54:38 AMBungie need to fix the accuracy of handcannons and not just nerf things. The forced inaccuracy is just silly.
-
Wasnt it doing 2 damage in the reveal stream
-
4 RespuestasIf you do the math it's taking roughly a 20% reduction to damage across the board. These changes will carry over into PvE as well but I have no idea how big the nerf is in PvE. It's probably also somewhere around 20%. It's one of the largest reduction to damage I've seen a weapon take.
-
Iconic lol its a scrub weapon and everyone knows it.
-
Who cares it as a cheap gun
-
5 RespuestasSorry, but Thorn nerfs are good ideas by definition.
-
Can't agree. DoT should delay regen not deal the death blow ,if they are weak go kill them. It's about time the thorn crutch gets balanced in my opinion.
-
2 RespuestasThe damage isn't supposed to be killing people. It is supposed to stop regen and let you know where a person is if they run. It also lets you kill with only one headshot and two body shots.
-
The thorn doesn't even matter right now, why are you angry?
-
1 RespuestaThorn is meant to prevent health regen nothing more.
-
Might as well shoot water at them with the 1 damage over time shit. And somehow people still thought this nerf was needed
-
Thorn has always been my favorite exotic weapon. PvE and PvP wise. This latest nerf obliterated Thorn, and you can tell that Jon Wisenewski has no intentions of ever bringing it back. It's going to be a sad day for both of us...
-
I think it's great, let's move past the mistake thorn was and leave it buried in year 1 forever.
-
Lol I has laughing so hard when I saw the 1 hit point with the poison. In all honestly thorn didn't need this all bungie is concerned about is keeping the community from getting pissed off by the same loadouts all the time and the gun that pissed EVERYONE off in year 1.
-
Idk what you're talking about. It's exactly .04% better.
-
Thts Sucks Oh Well Back To Nerfed Room Temp Water.
-
5 RespuestasWell you must play with the new exotic weapons they gonna release this month... So they gonna kill one by one all the old weapons, and thorn is the first in the list.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Darches: 4/10/2016 10:39:31 AMIf the tacical benefit isn't enough, understand that the poison still pushes it's damage up enough to 3 shot with only ONE headshot. Fast and reliable killer. You just need slightly more accuracy now; the weapon won't give out free crutch kills. But yeah TLW is in the house now.
-
Waaaaaah
-
its 2 not 1 watch the stream
-
I disagree and thorn is my go to primary. I'm pretty happy it's getting nerfed.
