Is the Grasp of Malok worth the grind?
The strike-exclusive weapon is a reskin of the Crota's End pulse rifle, Oversoul Edict, with almost identical stats. It is almost everywhere in the crucible nowadays and it seems to be part of the meta. People who grinded Will of Crota were rewarded with a solid, good, and fun weapon to use and I bagged one with quite good perks on my Warlock! But on the bright side, the gun is still useable and good with "bad" perks. Would you spend your hours grinding for the weapon?

Over 9 hours and 150 tries on Omni and still don't have 1, it's dropped 9 times for people that I was playing with, rng sucks!

1 RespuestaI've never been one to grind pve for 1 thing. My friend grinded hopscotch pilgrim, it got nerfed a month later, he was not happy.

1 RespuestaYup, loaded into a strike then the other person messaged me telling me we'll farm so I did that for an hour and a half and ended up with 2 of them. I boosted one to 298 and it put in a lot of work in the iron banner at that level. Really surprised me!

Love my grasp! Use it for anything and everything. Well worth the grind!

5 RespuestasI've gotten two in the past month. One good roll, one bad. Its the only legendary rifle of its kind from TTK so it's rarity is nice. Is it worth it? No. Bad Juju in some cases can beat it.

The chance of a perfect roll are so damn low... It's a beast gun. But if you get head seeker or braced frame don't waste your life trying for more.

Yes! I've had mine sitting in the vault for a while, I just got it out last night for a run and it's time to kill is ridiculously good, drops body's like the doctrine!

Mine has counterbalance, and reload perk. Its great. It fires super fast in tight pulses. This gun seems to have unlimited range as my crits are close to the same across skyshock. i see 22-25 crit, and 15-18 body. which means 3 shot pulse with super high rof. So its essentially a long distance TLW pulse rifle. Time to kill is around 3 bursts which is nothing. It seems to take the same time as 4 rounds of TLW. I wouldnt worry about your rolls. Its just awesome. I like my hrof weapons with stability perks.

51 RespuestasI've got a beast hacksaw I wouldn't trade for the grasp. Unless grasp dropped with head seeker and braced frame. Hacksaw is on my Titan.

I got one for doing story once I purchased Taken King. With Counter balence Kappa Anyone salty.

With brace frame and head seeker I regularly take on snipers and win most of the time.

Did you like oversoul? I didn't, thing was weak. It's just reskinned and the drop rate is low. I wouldn't bother.

I won't say the grasp is a turd, because I know there are plenty of players that love it and it performs well for them. If you want to farm for it, I say knock yourself out. I will stick to mida until at least tuesday and then see what happens.
