Noticed something in control
So I was playing iron banner, and I noticed that there's 3 objectives on the map called A, B and C and people stood on them a lot.
Seems like they give a point bonus or something lol, idk I never bothered to look closer, I just run around killing people, who cares about objectives in an objective game mode anyway amirite?

5 RespuestasThis is why you should receive better rewards and bonuses during Objective type matches for actually doing the Objective. And less overall standing and rewards if you're just "running around and killing people"! I have noticed that, for the most part, players who suck at Trials of Osiris, Rumble, or Clash like to jump into control matches just to get their KD up because they would get totally melted in non-objective type matches. That Lone wolf attitude diminishes the spirit of team play and is the biggest reasons I prefer to have a party going into PVP than being paired with randoms.

1 RespuestaThis is funny. Unfortunately, it's also depressing. There are to many people play IB that don't play Crucible at all. A lot of these people are pretty good at shooting things in the head. But they don't seem to understand that they have to take the zones. I played a game yesterday with a guy who had 23 kills and zero captures. Zero Captures! He didn't even get the first zone! Oh yeah, we lost, in case you didn't figure that out. IB should be Clash. Always Clash. Never not Clash.

I only win ib matches with my special ib team because they all know what the objective is. People I'm matchmade with just shoot people.

Bump. I feel your pain. I suck at pvp, but undetstand "capture the flag". Its only 3 words. Im top 3% in captures, but suck ass in kd. Relevence of objective should matter a bit more, but f uck me its not that hard.

From what I remember, the objective of most of the players on my team was to try and flip the spawns as much as possible. Maybe it got more points but we always seemed to lose on them games. ;-)

I just wish teammates knew that even if you don't cap b, just hang back, make sure it's still neutral, and proceed with slaughter. Then casually super the dog crap out of them and b is much simpler to take. I cannot stress how joyous it is when everyone is on the same page and blasts the other team everytime they try to cap b when it's neutral.

I also noticed that the bounties have nothing to do with the objectives. Oh but that would require extra programming work. Never mind.

4 RespuestasOne of the things I hate the most is when you have two zones, then half your team rushes the enemy's spawn to get the third zone. WHY.

My favorite is when I'm the only one on a cap point and my teammates run by me as red is bearing down on me. I just wave and say thanks fellas.
