My one concern with the year one exotics coming back
Thorn. It's one thing to see it in regular matches, however when IB comes around I know I won't have to deal with the dots that seem to tick longer than most warlock burns. If Thorn comes back in a y2 form, I'm concerned that all we will see is swarms of thorns in the playlists where level matters and you get access to higher tier items.
So am I just worrying over nothing, or should we prepare for the incoming wave of the green screen of annoyance?

I mentioned this before. Rework the Perk like so; Mark of the Devourer - Each landed shot cuases Poison Damage for a few seconds against Minions of the Darkness. Guardians are Resistant, but still suffer a Recovery Penalty.

Thorn is life I love thorn. I don't know why everyone hates it just because it's op. If you are tired of people destroying you with thorn then just whip out your thorn and blast their face of. It's not a big deal

2 RespuestasThey'll change the perk, for sure. Nerfing DoT won't make a difference. The gun just needs to be reworked in my opinion (i.e. Health doesn't drop below shields)

I'd like to use Thorn in pve though. The changes to its DOT and the lack of elemental primaries mean that it could be a great weapon to use now.

Bungie could make it so IB is a pve only weapon, I think they should make exotics with some crazy perks that are only for pve or make it so the perk wont work in pvp.

They break every time and people just whine some more, continuing the vicious cycle. When thorn dominated I used my Hawkmoon to counter them. If I needed more lead down range I used the Suros or Monte Carlo. The point is, only the user makes someone op, not the weapon system. There's so much proof of people using blue weaponry to wreak havoc. I have a 1k stare but my sniper skills are not on par with others. As such, I must use other tactics and weapons I am strong with, which happens to be shotguns/side arms and scout, and try to outplay my opponent.
