Some people have been hurt MASSIVELY by looking for a group. Only to be paired into a group that all know eachother then harassed and kicked.
It happens all too often.
And many darent even try with all the requirements you tried to stop with gally nerf etc.
They're still there. Only way more stringent now.
If matchmaking was a thing people who're nervous through bad experiences could just matchmake and try the game. Probably do great and find friends.
But with lfg the standards are harsh. And worse, can set people up for abuse. Disheartening them. Maybe forever.
If the group they are matchmade with are bad.
So what. Leave and matchmake again.
What I'm saying is it's a better situation for all to give OPTIONAL matchmaking.

Another reason why it was incredibly disappointing that challenge of elders doesn't have checkpoints as well. Skolas was miserable with teams that would kick as soon as they got to skolas to invite their friends or worse yet trolls that kick as soon as you defeat him. Checkpoints would at least let you take a break and protect you from this kind of griefing. I've never played a game before that required me to find people on an externally operated website and have to pretty much go through the same effort of finding a group that I would finding a job, just replace work experience with raid completions. It's an incredibly stupid system and I hope that Bungie stops being lazy and reels this in with more in game matchmaking options/in game lfg.

What's funny is when 4 people in the same team make a lfg or lfm post and only one person needs to.

1 RespuestaThey should add matchmaking to trials People with definitely love it Especially my trials team 😏

8 RespuestasI've used LFG, and the forums here a good bit, never been made fun of, never kicked. I know if I had to rely on matchmaking for a raid, I would have broken the game disk, and moved on. Simple, you aren't going to matchmake a good raiding party. You will have 6 morons trying to beat something, and failing because of no communication, everybody running around trying different things, nobody knowing what the others are doing, and quitting the game because "It's just too damned hard" It would result in less people playing the game, or the raids being so easy they suck. Lfg, and recruiting players would be alot harder, and new players would have no idea to even look for such a thing. Matchmaking a raid is a horrid idea. An in game LFG would be great, but matchmaking would be a disaster.

I hate logging off to use an lfg but even with in game match making you will meet idiots. Even in game there will be one guy who hosts the lobby or holds the connection to game. Sad but true. Best to deal with a different team and enjoy playing and not stressing.

Really wanted bungie to say something about this. They're just not interested.

1 RespuestaEditado por PRINCE_ALI_1985: 4/1/2016 2:36:17 PMEven though I'm in a clan and I have a lot of ppl I know that I can get to raiding within a short time I completely agree. Optional MM need to happen. Look at the Division they will introduce the "Incursion" next month and they say it needs team work, and friends you know specific builds ect... They allowed MM for "Incursion" as long as your gear allows it. It'll match make you with ppl with the right armor rating. The Division stream was amazing. -Incursion -Advance MM -Dark Zone Mercy Drop -updated loot -new story progression The free update going live on the 13th. Can't wait

I never use lfg I am a year one player everytime I would join a group I was kicked for having a better shader or ship than the leader Because I played solo so much because of being kicked from trying to raid using lfg

1 RespuestaEditado por rifleshot: 3/31/2016 8:29:47 PMDivision has optional matchmaking, BUT it's a total crap shoot. You get paired with people who have no good weapons, who speak a different language (no idea why but this keeps happening to me and I'm in the US but frequently am paired with people overseas) rage quitting at the start of the match is standard and you often have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to get started with 3 people who actually stay. On top of that, whoever is the host can decide to kick you at the boss room or right when you are done and about to grab loot (seen that happen a bunch) so that they can let their buddy in. I'm not against matchmaking, I like options. Unfortunately I know that there are alot of problems associated with it. When people start doing matchmaking and they get kicked for any of the reason above they will be back here complaining, and if they don't allow kicking then people will be going afk like strikes and getting free carries, and guess what will happen...
-
16 RespuestasOptional meaning "you have a choice". The strike is optional. Either form a fireteam or one will be provided for you. Some hardcore players need to chill. Everyone deserves a chance to get end game loot. OMM for Trials and POE challenge mode too.

Editado por Akira00x: 3/31/2016 11:53:16 PMAgreed, i personaly experienced some very bad groups, lfg is most likely a pool of, so called, "elitist" players. Even though, most of the guys who think of them selfs beeing great gamer are complet garbage who like to blame their own incompetenz on other ppl. Pretty funy sometimes 😂
-
Last time I tried LFG I happily helped carry half a new raid team to Oryx. It was fun. Until they booted me at Oryx so their friend could take my place and get the loot. That wasn't the first bad experience but will be the last. I still haven't been able to find a group to even beat Oryx on hard much less do the rest of the no matchmaking available activities. Thanks bungie for putting me in the position of missing out on most of your game without matchmaking.

2 RespuestasMaybe quit playing a dead game that only has irritated fanboys/addicts left? Or grow up and don't let insults from the Internet faze you? Just some suggestions
-
25 RespuestasYea let me tell you what will happen with matchmaking. Doing raid I'm 320 and get matched with 310. Guess what I'm leaving. I do the same thing in strikes if you suck I leave. I don't get paid to carry so if you wanna get carried pay someone
-
Honestly, I've never had any other experiences with LFG except good ones. I usually meet decent randoms and play pretty good games with most. The timing isn't always spot on, and sometimes the goals aren't met, but in my experience most people have been friendly with one another.

Editado por shamWOWzaMAN: 4/1/2016 1:07:21 AMMy group are a bunch of savages (as well as I), but we would never mistreat anyone unless lfg person(s) makes obvious a**hole comments. We always say hi and let 'em know we say some obscene things (ie. me telling my friend I would r*pe his butthole with no lube or his family lol don't ask). If the person says they are uncomfortable with what we say to each other we keep it civil. If you're on xbox one message me when you you want to raid and we can try to coordinate a time. gt shamwowzaman ps. we don't care if you've done the raid or not. As long as you pay attention when we explain things and follow what we say (ie. hey you have the aura so run here or there) you'll be fine. Everyone that knows how to do the raid didn't know jack sh*t when it first came out.

1 RespuestaWow, you'd have a sound argument, however you left out the fact that you could post and host your own groups and totally be in control of who you are playing with!! You idiots take this time to post these idiotic diatribes to the feedback forums when you could write a much shorter LFG post in the recruitment forums.
-
Editado por Church: 3/31/2016 11:39:44 PMThat is why i make my own post trying to find randoms and so what, if you find people who are dicks, be a dick or joke about it and don't take it seriously. And leave if you don't like them. Personally i haven't met a single bad raid group of randoms on the forums
-
I prefer to do things solo. But with the raid and IB I don't participate in group objectives. Too many requirements.
-
I refuse to use 3rd party apps to form a team for a game requiring teamwork one of Bungies biggest failures imo who creates a game requiring group play without ingame lfg....... If they introduce ingame lfg or matchmaking then I might raid or do content requiring a group untilthen Im happy flying solo
-
11 RespuestasListening to the opponents of OMM you would think that lfg is all sunshine and rainbows and sub hour raid finishes. They never engage that lower level players don't get a look in. Starts to sound like elitism to me. But hey that's just like my opinion, man.

Humans are assholes some times. That's all there is to it. I hate LFG and the fact that there's no matchmaking is this group focused game but all well I guess.

8 RespuestasI was trying to set up a raid through lfg for my buddy. He's never done normal KF. On the normal mode forum, I saw several posts requiring 318+ only. I just had to shake my head and laugh.

I have a clan that runs 3 raids a week and usually we are missing one guy so we use lfg to find one. My group is very welcoming and not by any means assholes. Well at least not to the new guy. It usually ends up being the new guy being the ass... Just saying
