Dark souls 3 has lower resolution and fps on the Xbox One

Xbox One- 900p, lower resolution shadows and lower fps.
PS4- 1080p, better shadows and more stable frame rate.
Easy choice for those trying to decide which one.

Single player games couldn't care less about, it's just there for the looks. Multiplayer it IS a pain and frustating when you can't make out a figure in clutter but the opponent can see you because he's got higher res, and that is a 900 - 1080p difference! Also people saying so what it's 100pixels? Are you taking into account BOTH consoles have use post processing, both will try and smooth the image out the best they can, and both will probably (not all the time) try to upscale it to 1080p. Sorry but a 900p image gets butcherd to death to make it look the slightest bit good, 1080 there's like no effort involved, but if it DID use the same amount of post processing effort like the other image it would look like -blam!-ing 4K. I bet when 4k console gaming comes out people will STILL be saying resolution doesn't matter, plz, in that case buy a SNES. There is a reason why people give thumbs up to even the tiniest increase in resolution, the effects of it are like tenfold.

7 RespuestasSo what? A couple more details here and there, it's not going to affect your gameplay and your characters ability to move, kill and even run. It's just pixels, Xbox has always had lower pixels than playstation on certain games idk why ppl keep complaining about, if anything they end up running better and not as buggy on Xbox than in ps4

7 RespuestasI downloaded DS3 on Saturday (for X1) and I haven't been able to put it down since. I'll be purchasing the game on PS4 come April 12th but as it stands now the game runs pretty damn smoothly on the Xbox. The only thing I've noticed is a weird full screen flicker of green that'll pop in out every so often. Other than that the game looks and runs great.
