So I was a big fan of oblivion and skyrim. I was totally into final fantasy until the games got too streamlined. Grand theft was good because you could just go do random things having a blast for a couple of hours.
I'm looking for a game that has diverse indept character builds...open world, with a good storyline. Suggestions would be awesome.

Best true RPG on current gen that's open world is Dragon Age Inquisition. Pretty average tbh, it's like 7/10. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

Witcher 3 or Dragon Age Inquisition

3 RespuestasWitcher 3 dude, no contest. If u enjoyed elder scrolls, you'll deeply enjoy witcher 3. It's very very different from oblivion and skyrim, however has many aspects the elder scrolls don't have. Cons: Combat is pretty simply honestly, and the spells are very basic. (I wish there were more deep caverns but thats more of personal preference, not a con)Game has some game breaking bugs that will require you to have multiple saves to continue. Pros: in depth world, side missions are probably the most well done side missions of any game I've ever played, everything in the world feels tied together, great fluent story, one of the few games where your choices actually changes the game heavily, tons of loot to find, entire game is filled with content

If you want diverse your character definitely don't get the Witcher 3 lmao. If you care more about the story Witcher 3 is fine just don't get mad when you realize the only redeeming value is the story.
