LOL'ing at Update!!!
I just have to say that this update is hilariously bad! Bungie, you've done it again! You've managed to keep all the fanboys rooting for you, and the people that can see through your BS another reason to dislike you even more. I've been reading some comments about how people are just so excited for free content... Well, let me clear things up for you, it's NOT free. If you've bought all the DLC EXCEPT for the TTK, you're shit outta luck! So no, it's not "free". I personally haven't played since Nov./Dec. and have been waiting for something good to get me playing again, and as expected, Bungie will NEVER deliver anything worth while anymore. Because re-skinned PoE?!?!?! Come on Bungie, THIS was your big reveal? I would have gotten more excitement out of ordering a kids meal at McD's and waiting to see which toy I got. Pathetic...

1 RespuestaThis isn't a DLC, did you notice that they just call it the April Update? They didn't even bother naming it. Why? Because it's an update to progress with the story made by the same Live Team that made Festival of the Lost and SRL. To be blunt, it was your fault that you got your hopes up. I'm completely satisfied with this update. There's a full expansion coming out later this year, you should consider coming back then.

However, when they do show us something don't let us see a perk is available and then say we will talk about that next week. Bungie acts like details for an update are state secrets. We don't need hype, we are here. People are leaving because there not enough communication, but Bungie does a half assed twitch stream and shows something they will talk about later. I'm tired of waiting for info and play about 1/10th what I used to because of it. They won't fix the drops, the grind is stupid now, and the communication seems to come from 12 year olds. It just doesn't seem rewarding to play for all the crap we up with.

Idk. Seems alright to me. Armor looks cool, it's free and will be a more intimate experience with smaller fire teams. It will allow those without many friends to do end game content and no rely so much on LFG. There will be new rap ons and armor. Kinda nifty score card. I'm interested and look forward to it.

Reword "free" to "at no additional cost," and I'm not quite sure why people are mad. I don't particularly care for the update, but no one's explained to me why it infuriated them so. Coherently state justifiable reasons for your disappointment along with reasonable expectations you'd rather see realized if you're so displeased, but all I've seen is people bitching over semantics like the worst thing Bungie has ever done in regards to Destiny is finagle you with inexact vocabulary. Jesus.

At least they have a place for you to vent your frustrations. The best solution would be to pick up a new game to try if destiny keeps disappointing you. There are many players that are looking forward to it, many who aren't. There is nothing forcing gamers to continue playing.

By now, everyone who has already drained the content dry will say this game sucks and the taken king is a joke but people are stupid. The taken king has been out for what? 6 months? Maybe more? Everyone has done everything imaginable. Thats 6 months of gameplay that everyone enjoyed playing until they obviously got bored. If you haven't played the taken king then you will have about 5-6 months worth of play. Using new supers, doing the raid, playing trials, playing the strikes, Doing the exotic bounties. Its actually fun and its worth it. People have so much salt for destiny at the moment and thats so stupid, the game for a beginner is amazing. If you are mad because you didn't purchase the ttk then its no ones fault. Its free for those who already bought the ttk. Whats the big deal? How the hell do you expect to reach max light without having to do the other stuff that everyone else did? Its fair what they came up with and like some one smart always says " you can always play another game".
