Go to the feedback/suggestions part of The Division forum. Read some posts. Then read the patch notes. Do you see how the vast majority of patches are a direct response to complaints from the forums? Why can't you do the same, Bungie? It's like you're [i]trying[/i] to kill the game. Edit 1: Lots of replies, which is great. A few of you are misunderstanding my point, though. [u]I am not, in any way, shape or form comparing the GAME Destiny to The Division.[/u] There is ABSOLUTELY no reason you should think I am. Ubisoft clearly reads the forums and immediately changed some of their policies to be more compatible with what the community wants. Destiny WILL die if Bungie doesn't do the same. Nowhere in that sentence is there any comparison between Destiny (the game) and The Division (the game). I am pointing out that Ubisoft apparently took great notes in their 5th grade economics class and Bungie slept through the entire school year. As I mention in a comment below, I've been avidly gaming for more than two decades. That said, Destiny is BY FAR the best game I've ever played. The gameplay is absolutely peerless. Without a doubt, 95% of my deaths in the Division are because the game handles like the first Resident Evil with Tourette syndrome and a broken foot. To sum it up: I love Destiny. More than any game. That will never change as long as it exists. Existence, though... It's a bastard. It's a dynamic state that hates stagnation. Anyone in to genetics? Maybe you've heard of the Red Queen Hypothesis? It boils down to an old cliché: [i]It takes all the running you can do to keep in the same place.[/i] Bungie needs to adapt the initial vision they had for this game into something that the community actually wants. They can determine and implement what the community wants largely by reading these forums AND THEN IMPLEMENTING the changes that are most popular with the majority of players. If they don't, people will come back one more time in April and won't return; there are just too many good games out there. The ONLY thing I care about (in the context of this game) is that it stays popular. It can only do that by listening to us. So there's a very verbose clarification of what my original six sentence post meant. I herby issue a strict moratorium on misunderstanding me. Edit 2: Based on the Twitch reveal so far, I'd say Bungie is making some good choices. The PoE challenge mode seems kinda like the PvE answer to Trials of Osiris. More importantly, though... Someone get those dudes some decent weapons! Also who uses a rocket launcher when there's a bonus for headshots and MGs get pretty much 100% HSs?
