How the hell do you get to Light 300.
I can't do raids since no one is even willing to help here.
I've done 100+ of the vanguard raids or whatever. The 260+ light ones...
AND SOMEHOW I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ARMOUR ABOVE 280.

Can someone please explain this to me.
Edit : Thanks for all the replies...If anyone could help me do any raid. Literally any that will get be a decent 300 Gear I'd be happy

Edit 2 : Again thanks for all the replies. I gained a lot of knowledge about the game and even managed to go from 295 Light to 299 (On the verge of 300) with the help of a Sherpa from Reddit. Shoutout to Sewpertramp.
Super hype to do the raid again next week for better gear and maybe try to do the Hard version :)

4 Respuestas1. Play Iron Banner (Win, of course) 2. Do the raid, King's Fall 3. Trials of Osiris 4. Nightfalls 5. Crucible weekly bounties 6. Events such as SRL 7. Lucky RNG (gear can drop from up to 305 light) 8. Exotics can drop up to 320 9. Vanguard Heroic Strike bonuses mean your loot has a higher chance at being higher light, more legendaries drop, and lower chance to get things below your level. In theory, playing over 500-600 strikes in a row can give you guaranteed 310 legendaries But OP this post does sound more like you're looking for a raid team, go put that in recruitment.

You can go into the raid starting at 280-290. No need to get to 300 first.

Forget raids, trials, iron banner. Nightfall got me over 300, nothing else.

If your ok in pvp, try Iron Banner. Rank 5gets you a 310 ghost & a random piece at 311+

I feel ya. I haven't done the raid yet either & seem to be such at 297. I'm hoping when my son gets Destiny we'll be able to get some of his friends to help with them.

4 Respuestashi have you tried the level 20 strikes because to me I think its does really matter what level strikes. they seem to drop the same and you may want to do a couple of nightfall and its does take quite long time if you are not raiding

1 RespuestaHomey is so full of shit. Hes completed Vault of Glass 16 times. Croata's end 11 times. His clan must have given up on him because after that hes only completed Skolas 1 time and Kings Fall once. Him saying hes never ever raided before is bullshit.

I got up past 300 without doing the raid or trials. After I hit 300, I got like 6-8 light after that because I saved up about 26-28 exotic engrams for about a 2 weeks till I hit 300 then decrypted all at 300 and got more then half of them at 310. With that I got to about 307 or so, but then Srl came around and was able to get a 320 helmet and a 314 class item and was able to get up even higher, then IB came around and got a couple other higher. I haven't even completed kings fall a lot or many parts or it, so I've gotten the warpreist challenge on my hunter 2 times and warlock once, but the artifact for 2 character at 320 and one other is at 318.

I have an alt account, legacy of ares. On that account, 2 days ago I made a fresh destiny account. I had a light level 271 warlock that I asked for help getting carried through hard mode and challenge. 1 hour later, I had it completed. The only raid that account has done is 1 KF Hard mode. For those who say you need normal first, you're full of shit. For those who say you need to be a certain light, you're full of shit. Any guardian can help another, it just depends on if you're willing to or not.
