Dunno if it'll help, BUT... I got all of mine on Patrols while I was grinding out Gunsmith reputation to rank 5. They [i]seemed[/i] to drop about 1/Gunsmith Rank. MOST of them dropped for me on Mars while I was farming VIP (kill target) patrol missions... anyways... just keep at it and they'll drop eventually.
BTW: SS was fun for about a week... I haven't taken SS outta the Vault since I unlocked Darkdrinker.

Btw how fast did they drop for you? I grounded for about 2 hours today without stopping and got about a thousand kills (965 exactly) and I didn't get it. I guess I just have bad luck?

There's always the RnG-factor involved... but I seemed to get one per Gunsmith Rank. I never focused on the quantities of enemies, but the quality: yellow bars are worth more glimmer, more XP (with the right patrol mission), and typically drop more stuff. Keep at it... they're out there... [i]Somewhere[/i]
