Nightstalker buff
Hello guardians,
In my opinion shadowshot (tether) is by far the worst super in the game. Just because if you hit right next to a target he wont get tethered just yet. No that takes like 5 minutes. And also the fact that you cant kill someone in trials who is just revived or self res. Also the arrow has too little speed if you ask me..

To fix it remove the damn delay ... If I smack someone in a super with a direct shot why do I have to wait 3-5 seconds for it too tether -_-?

Maybe the arrow speed (really I think it's the animation) is a tad slow. But that would be literally the only thing. What's more I'm pretty sure tether suppresses supers. Also, you have to realize that Nightstalker is meant to be played as a support class.

The missing and delayed tether is fine. You missed, and should be punished for it. Hitting a person with an extra shield from super should not kill them, as this is a support super, not a killing super, although imo, it should immediately negate them if direct hit instead of delayed. And the speed is fine. You want a faster shooting, instant kill super? Try Gunslinger, as that's the killing class. Nightstalker is a support one.

The only thing I don't like is when a blade dancer is up close he can go right thru that shit like it didn't even get him.

I use it in the crucible. I use the three shots so in Trials, I can take down the other team fast.

I think it's fine. Nightstalker is probably my favorite subclass in the game so far. Shadowshot is a pretty amazing super if you ask me. It can quickly shut down supers and allows you to easily kill your targets once they are tethered. Honestly, I like the Black Hole ability more than Quiver. I'm not trying to shoot everyone in the face for the win. I'm trying to kill one and lock down that entire space for 10 seconds. That prevents a revive and allows my team a chance to pinch from another angle. I would compare it to the Sunsinger's radiance. It's not a Golden gun. You're not going for insta-kills. It's basically there to support your other abilities and skills, and amplify their overall effectiveness. It takes skill and tactical sense to use it properly. I find that running keen scout and black hole allows me to jump around a corner and hit a marked target with ease. Then I duck for cover for a moment while the tether pops. Then I have all the other enemies tethered and marked. Then I quickly pop out, throw a grenade or smoke on the first enemy I see, and gun down anyone else in the area. In some ways this works out better than a panic super.

1 RespuestaDisagree. The class itself is very good. If tether was buffed then you'll see a hard nerf 4 months later that will cripple the class like they did with bladedancer. It's literally fine the way it is.
