Saying Country is the worst genre of music is such a cliche thing to do. I've heard some great country music before. If there's really a true worst genre, I'd have to say it's the new generation of rap music, or modern pop music.

To me there is good music in every genre and bad music. Limiting yourself to one is like only eating one type of food. It's gonna get old after a while.

I'd listen to country before I listen to pop. A lot of country music is actually fairly good - it's just that most people don't really give it much of a chance (like true hip hop, for instance).
