Oh there's plenty of flinch, the times where people end up hitting you with a sniper while you are shooting them has to do with either luck or them timing the shot between your shots. For example they will fire their sniper between pulses if you are using a pulse rifle or between the shots that you fire from a scout rifle. But if they succeed in doing this while you're hitting them with an auto rifle, well that's just luck.

If they can recover quickly enough between shots of a primary weapon then there's simply not enough flinch. That's what I'm trying to say.

Well there's not many shooters that I've played in which the flinch is so apparent that it's impossible to recover from. I don't think that would be necessary to input.
