Got it from a legendary engram in year one. The nightfall was Cerberus Vae. I spazzed so hard when it turned out to be Red Death. Got it before Dark Below.

I got from xur 2nd time he sold it (1st time was 2nd or 3rd week after release and I didn't have the coins), but I got it playing vanguard strikes too.

Here is my tip , you want a nonquest related exotic get out and get your three of coins and do strikes, kill taken ultra on patrol do crucible , don't be lazy , you want something good go and get it don't wait for xur to sell it
