Faction Armor Shaders
I'm not going to ask any dumb questions like "is it possible to get an armor shader from the faction packages?". Because I know the answer to that question, it is "possible". I'm simply here to complain and vent about how frustrated I am with NOT receiving any. I joined the dead orbit faction simply to get an armor shader and now I'm up to rank 6 for dead orbit and STILL none. I've gotten emblems, armor, everything, you name it... Besides any shaders. either it must be as rare as finding someone over 10 years old that plays destiny or I just have some pretty bad luck.
Now here's me talking to thin air.... Why can't destiny just make it possible to buy shaders from your faction. We can buy the parts to the outfit.. But not the colors..? Come on now..

You want to hear how much of a moron I have been? I am currently rank 36 with FWC. I had been pouring ALL of my motes of light into it, all my armor, weapon parts, syths, EVERYTHING for a chance at shaders, ships or 310 stuff. After a year of doing that, I got nothing. Just garbage. Then my buddy says, "Have you turned in your engrams or leveled up with FWC with your highest light level equipped?" No. This apparently is common knowledge but not to me. So I go and do just that on my next level up with FWC. BOOM. 2 FWC shaders and a ship. I am so happy about it, but I am also slapping myself for wasting ALL THIS TIME TRYING TO GET THE FACTION SHIZ. So lesson learned. Be at your highest light level when leveling up with a faction. Your luck may change like mine.

didnt get my first shader til rank 26. some are 50+ with no shaders.

113 rank in dead ordit got all shaders and ships i didnt get my first shader till i was rank 10

Seriously? I made it to 43 DO without one, deleted that character and made a new one to see if that would fix it. Didn't get a single DO shader till year 2.

Lol only rank 6 and you were complaining about not getting them I didn't get my first one till rank 10 and got all ships and shaders from DO & FWC by the time my two main characters got to rank 25.

I've got all 4 dead orbit shaders, 2 from FWC and 1 from New Monarchy. But lately been wearing Polar Oak for the feels. First shader I ever owned :)

3 RespuestasYou're complaining about rank 6 without a shader? How lazy can one possibly be!? I made it to 18 and felt lucky to get one that early, they need to make it WAY rarer like it was in year 1 again. I received all of them by rank 30 and was like "Damn, that was easy af lol".

Dead orbit rank 30 gave me the last of the 4 shaders I needed. Switched to FWC, ranked it up to 5 got my first FWC shader :)

I'm almost level 50 in dead orbit and I just got all the shaders and ships in the past 20 levels. Use all the motes u wanna spend tuts what I did. I tried to do 20 motes a day but I quickly ran out 😂😂

I was well over rank 20 before I got my first one. Hit 30 last night and got the last ship I was missing - now have all DO shaders and ships! Now if the Cryptarch would quit being so greedy. Ftr, FWC dropped shaders for me at much lower rank

1 RespuestaHow long have you been playing Destiny? You would have blown up the forums with a salty nuke in Y1, they increased the drop rate for faction shaders tremendously.. Though I will say I have yet to see a ship.. 24 in FWC and 10 in DO
