How your character looks should be able to tell where you've been/what you've accomplished. That has been the foundation of customizing your characters. I think it would be really cool to be able to unlock Exotic emotes based on endgame activities. Some examples are below:
Raids:
Croats End: Guardian holds hands out in front of him/her and summons crota's ascendent blade (exactly like crota's intro in the raid) which can be unlocked by beating Hard mode Crota
VoG: Guardian makes same stance that Atheon makes when he sends guardians to a different time, and your guardian turns into glass and shines. Unlocked from defeating Atheon hard mode
King's Fall: Guardian holds out hand and clenches fist showing off Oryx's taken power like in the cinematics. Unlocked defeating Oryx hard mode.
Trials of Osiris:
Guardian slowly starts to ascend off ground and has a fire like aura. Unlocked through going flawless in Trials
Iron Banner:
Guardian plants iron banner flag which is on fire (submitted by M477 X)
Nightfall:
Guardian's head gets blue flame from Y1 and guardian frantically tried to put out the fire on head. unlocked from beating a nightfall strike.
PoE: Guardian does Skolas's taunt with two extra fake arms attached with strings (submitted by a user on the Reddit post I made)
Can you think of better or more cool emotes?? This would essentially be like a trophy for your accomplishments. Please Deej and Cozmo, can we make something like this happen??
Edit: We're trending :-)
Edit 2: the people have spoken, we need an exotic emote that is t-bagging or pouring salt all over guardians :-)

For example: Voidwalkers create some kind of void sphere on their hands and start playing/manipulating it Stormcallers do the exact same thing/movement when you first get the subclass in the cinematic (start looking around them with some sort of electricity) ^^^ Recicled content, Bungie wins, we win Edit: Found the Stormcaller thing on YouTube so you can see what I'm referring to: https://youtu.be/_iKRvgL2YBQ
