1. It was a free open beta 2. It was on PC as well as PS and Xbone Not saying that The Division won't be more successful than Destiny, but those numbers don't really prove much.
-
6.4 million are tired of Destiny
Assuming over 6.4 million play Destiny Those are beta numbers, half the gaming population is -blam!-ed up in the sense that they just buy and/or play games because they're cheap/free.
-
Was gonna play the beta. But I didn't hear about it until too late.
-
Because ALL of them must dislike destiny

17 RespuestasI played the Division Beta most of Friday and quite a bit Saturday. It had some great ideas and it gets mad cred for having a priority matchmaking system that put me in games with my friend's list. The DZ PVP was fun, but at times incredibly bullshit. I see a lot of casual players having trouble adjusting to the nearly DayZ dog-eat-dog mechanics. The 3rd person combat was interesting, but it didn't flow very well for those quick PVP engagements. Overall, I think it'll be an interesting, solid game. However, the Open Beta was not enough to convince me to buy it at launch. The lack of announced end-game content (which could very well include PVE content such as strikes or raids) + the so-so experience with the DZ held me off. Who knows? It could be great.

11 RespuestasIt's an open beta lol

3 RespuestasI'm really excited for the Division. I'm really bored of Destiny. The two aren't related.

34 RespuestasEditado por Phunkr: 2/22/2016 11:16:02 PMOkay, let's pull out some numbers here. The Destiny beta, a brand new IP had 4.6 million players. The Division (which is running under the Tom Clancy name which is synonymous with multiple other franchises) had 6.4 million. That's only a two million difference between a brand new IP and an established brand name. It's now kinda sad they were only that far ahead.

2 RespuestasThe game isn't even in the same league with Destiny. Destiny is one of the bestselling games of all time. Also, retains players longer.

Lol moved to gaming

Lmao people get more and more stupid every day..
-
Having 1/3 more players in their beta blows Destiny out of the water...
-
Editado por RicFock: 2/24/2016 5:45:51 AMBecause it's an open beta literally anyone can play it

4 RespuestasOpen beta players just want to see why so much hype and most won't be buying it with Destiny releasing next dlc in the spring.
-
6 RespuestasBattlefront had 9 million.
-
1 RespuestaWhen The Division releases I won't be playing Destiny for a while...I'll just leave it at that
-
I'm sure it'll do well, but it'll be interesting to see how many of those beta players translate into actual sales.
-
1 RespuestaDidn't you have to pre order or something for destinys beta and the division had one pre order beta to get people talking then a completely open beta a few weeks later?
-
6.4 million people who don't know how to play more than 1 game at a time.
-
That's impressive i bet destiny has less than 1 million currently playing, i enjoyed the beta and will be buying the game.
