1 RespuestaI wanted Destiny to have PVP Patrol, it didn't. Division DZ, love it. Wanted destiny vendors to have refresh with different rolls, it doesn't. Division vendors continually refresh with different gear for your level, love it. Destiny RNG, AHHHHHHH!!!!!! Division drops are good, sell what you don't want, buy from vendors' rotating stock. Easy to get the gear you want for your playstyle. Always better stuff as you level up. Destiny, jump and crouch. Division, climb and cover. This took some getting used to for me. Destiny, sci-fi, aliens and Darkness Division, military, insurgents and Contamination. Overall, Destiny, a game I loved playing with my friends and family daily. I didn't mind repeating activities when there was a chance for drops like the original Vex Mythoclast, Gjallarhorn , etc. Now, everything just feels watered down with nothing worth grinding for anymore. Can't justify the grinding for possible engrams, max glimmer 25,000, with nothing great to buy with glimmer anyway. Year one gear and activities rendered useless. Really dislike everything about Destiny since TTK. Division, not the same WOW as I had when playing the Destiny Beta. Enemies take lots of damage to kill. I like the control I have with how I make money and what I get with it. I choose what guns I get and how I set them up. I choose my armor, my health, my DPS, my skill power. Everything is very customizable, I make my character who they are. I really like the options in the Division. No praying to RNGesus, ever. I have the control that I always wanted in Destiny. I can PVP without going to orbit. I really like the Division. I will, personally, be playing Division and will not be purchasing anymore Destiny content. I love Destiny for what it was, I hate what it has become.

Yup, they share many similarities. They are both loot based shooters, they both have MMO and RPG elements. The differences will be in the stories told, and the contexts of those stories (sci-fi, fantasy, creative non fiction, fiction, etc). I'd argue that there are more differences than similarities though. If you're trying to imply that the division is a rip off of Destiny, I just don't agree. But hey, we're all entitled to our opinions. If you are a fan of this style of game it's great news to have more stories to explore in this cross-genre format.

As far as I can tell, you're about 99.9% wrong in your conclusion.

1 RespuestaNot even close.... No matter which one you prefer, they are very different in their mechanics and gameplay.
-
1 RespuestaNot really. The setting, story, gunplay, loot system, loot, skill trees, mechanics, and multiplayer are completely different. The only similar things are the connectivity and the soon to be toxic community

5 RespuestasDestiny vs. Division First Person...Third Person Sparrows...Lots of Running Three Classes...Humans Decent PvP....Terrible PvP LFG...More Matchmaking Options Supers...2 Usable Actions at a Time Very similar? I don't see it.
