Petition to allow only yr2 gear for normal crucible and only yr1 gear for classic
Why didn't anyone think of this sooner?
This would definitely make crucible better.
It would therefor make icebreaker no longer a threat during trials so no one has special. (except for invective)
Since not all year 1 gear was brought over to year 2,this is a perfect idea. We could finally have a decent match where no one is using thorn,felwinters,LDR,queenbreakers,Lord of wolves,universal remote,and icebreaker.
And of course,all of the people who use those weapons just to get kills will hate this. But if you really think about it,the community would be better as well as the game.
What do you think,guardians?
Edit: "classic crucible" They won't be useless. You could go into CLASSIC crucible and use them. People still play CLASSIC crucible. No matter how much I want yr1 back,yr1 needs to stay in yr1.

In Trials the level advantages need to be bigger. That would discourage players from using lower light Y1 weapons.

No, it's bad enough they're terrible in PvE. I honestly don't want them to be completely useless. How about Bungie just update all Year 1 gear (which I think is the new content)

Horrible idea. What about new players that barely have any year 1 gear? This is just a game with no competitive environment. Play it and have fun or just leave.

People can still just equip sidearm before the match starts and then die and then switch to sniper/shotty

Also disable all supers, grenades, melee abilities and give all melees the same range. Also get rid of all special jumps and just give everyone a double jump. If PvP can't use anything PvE can, they can't ruin PvE with all their cries of nerf on literally everything.

1 RespuestaYou can still get most of the "OP" Year 1 weapons. It's not like they removed the activities that drop them. Plus it's fun to change it up every now and then and use some old glories, rather than just using the "OP" Year 2 weapons.
