Xur is basically pointless. Let's fix it!
Remember when you'd be so excited it was Friday and Xur would be showing up with something interesting, preferably something you didn't have. Maybe it's just me but he holds no mystery now, no excitement. He's a 3oC farm for me and that's about it.
So I say add a random 320 item that costs a decent amount of coins. This way every week you're guaranteed to either go up in LL or at least have the opportunity to or infuse obviously. The best idea? Probably not but just a thought.
What do you guys think he needs?

Your just catching on to this, he's had like 2 or 3 good weeks since the beginning of destiny. Hell there was a few months after the dark below where I wouldn't even check.....just to avoid the disappointment lol

I'm lucky I just started playing late last year and still have a alot guns to get from 3 of coins. So he still kinda excites me lol

The problem is 3 of coins. If Xur never sold them right away then Xur would still be relevant. A majority of ppl have all the exotics because of 3 of coins farming

Good idea also like the idea of him giving bounties. Say 3-6 per week PVE related one gives a nightfall reward for doing something harder (or all other bounties). I would also support him selling infusion materials that I can bump my existing items up. Maybe entheric light can do this increases any item by 1 or 2 light. Would make Skolas popular again.

I'd love it if he would sell shards again. :c Real talk though, my favourite addition to his inventory is the Legacy Engrams.. I was never able to finish my year 1 exotic collection before TTK dropped. But because of these engrams I was able to get a Glasshouse last week, and the Feedback Fence this week. My Exotic collection is 100% complete now because of Xur. He's a cool guy in my books. c:

Random idea that just came to mind.... Random exotic engram. Still 19 strange coins but it gives you the chance of any exotic weapon or armor. I know it's not really that big of a change but breaks up the monotony of a set exotic set each week...

1 RespuestaXur doesn't need to be fixed The leveling system in destiny does. Or if not change the leveling system. Have vendors have the ability to re roll gear for SC. This could involve chest pieces getting completely new values or perks. To upgrading items to legendary/exotic

That's not bad, like a legendary engram that rolls that piece of gear at 320. Pretty interesting. Would definitely help people struggling at the mercy of RNG to get that final piece of gear. But make it expensive, like 75 strange coins? Idk. Just above the average. Put that in place of absolutely useless year one engrams. I want to see the number of those actually purchased. I'm guessing in the range of 9-14.

Just like how there is a players not high enough light for this activity. There should be a Xur that says the same thing. So people near max or maxed can see a special Xur so there's something to look forward to and a meaning to having strange coins.

Xur should sell all gear including weapons at 300 now that's it's been half a year since TTK dropped. Also exotics should have a chance of dropping at 320 once you reach 310 light. This would help out single players that currently don't have a route to reaching 320.
