Inferno Iron Banner?
Only Inferno I'd played before was Rumble, but we played a bunch of the weekly 6v6 yesterday and it was really fun.
I think an inferno Clash/Control rotation would be pretty fun, especially in the current meta because it seemed to neutralize shotgunners a bit. Anyone else agree?

I'm pretty new to the Crucible aspect of the game, but since the last IB event, I've grown to like getting my ass kicked while having fun in PVP. I run a warlock (no, not a sunsinger... lol) as my main but love getting into pvp to watch all the styles of each guardian. Some of our fellow players truly play a brilliant game. And since this event hasnt been tried, I support your suggestion for that simple fact 100%. Let's do it.

159 RespuestasI'll mention it to the Crucible team. I like Inferno, but it's definitely more of a hard core gametype. I really enjoy sneaking up on enemies, which is why I run Arc Blade. Share below if you would enjoy Inferno in Iron Banner or would rather stick to regular gametypes.

Inferno absolutely not. I'm sorry, but those modes are even more campy than the basic modes as it is.

Played it for 1st time like u, liked it not being reliant on radar and head on a swivel, less secondary deaths and more team work imo as i stuck w a random teammate more often

I would certainly play it. Even if a lot of people still use MIDA despite the third eye perk being entirely useless.

13 RespuestasIf anything inferno brings out the shotties. What becomes impossible to use is fusion rifles because you don't have enough information to plan your charge. I hate inferno for the shotgun fest it creates.

So I played a few rounds of Inferno and it flat out sucks. I've never been blindsided by specials more in a match as much as I have tonight. If they make Iron Banner Inferno, I think I'll pass.

I am not a fan of inferno control. I enjoyed inferno clash when they had it a while back. I haven't play it yet this week. Hoping to play some this weekend.

Inferno is fun. The element of surprise is there, no relying on radars just instinct and reaction times.

1 RespuestaNO! NO! NO! Trials is four days a week and is always the same. Why do Control IB fans have to suffer when its just one week a month? I wouldn't mind maybe Zone Control, and can manage to stomach camp fest Clash. Year two maps are bad enough WITH radar. Please dont use Iron Banner as an experiment tool for less popular game modes! Solo players (please dont close your minds to their possible positions) have no choice but to play IB whether they like it or not just to try and keep up and most are sick of being left in the cold. I some how doubt freelance will be available the one time a month it would be most useful. Inferno, like Rift would once again require more team strategy and communication. Imo, Zone Control or Clash if you must. Please dont take away my best defense against run up and shotty blast me from behind while Im already engaged in a 1v2 gunfight crouchy corner campers and team baiting hardscopers.

You actually have to get in gunfights in inferno, and you can flank etc. People on here don't want that, they just want to sit and hardscope a door. In inferno you realise how autos and fusions are actually decent when there's no radar, and snipers are nowhere near as powerful when people don't know if they are being flanked or not. They would need to fix the ice breaker/side arm thing first though or it would be a disaster.
