For those who don't know, it is a theory that man and other living things were once a single celled type of organism, millions and millions of years ago. Or in simple terms, man was once a fish.
Edit 1: My simple term is incorrect, what I meant to say was that man and fish share a common ancestor.
Edit 2: It is interesting to see what everyone's own individual opinion is on this topic. There is a great diversity of responses.
Edit 3: I believe in creationism and evolution. I believe that God created the base species, and then they evolved from that due to natural selection.

An opinion can't be wrong. But I really doubt it sometimes. If evolution worked properly, there should be at least one other non-homosapian race that is considered intelligent enough to accomplish what humans have.

Yes. Religion is absolute codswallop.

Yeah I believe in it
also I believe in God IM A MONSTER SCIENCE AND RELIGION NOT POSSIBLE
14 RespuestasYes. Just find it hard to believe they know what exactly we came from. We could be descendants of aliens who abandoned their slaves
-
Even if you believe in god, it's quite silly to try and deny evolution :/
-
41 RespuestasLuckily, it's true whether you believe it or not.

14 RespuestasI've seen evolution occur with my own eyes. Anyone who's ever taken a microbiology course has. Put a strain of bacteria in an agar plate and watch them evolve antibiotic resistance in a few days, over the course of several generations. It's not a theory anymore, kiddos, we can watch it in real time.

3 RespuestasNo. I prefer the ramblings and best guesses of Bronze Age goat herders, to the combined work of some of the greatest minds since the Enlightenment. (I'm being sarcastic btw).
-
11 RespuestasBelief is irrelevant; evolution is scientific fact.
-
2 RespuestasI'm an atheist who believes in evolution
-
Nope I don't.

3 RespuestasEveryone just play spore, it explains everything XD still waiting for us to get to space age
-
Play spore and agrio. They are 100% logical
-
I don't believe in it, I accept the fact that is evolution.

I believe facts to be true so yes, I do believe evolution.
-
You should clarify that a "theory" in science is not the same as an everyday theory.
-
3 RespuestasMaybe we we're all created by an ancient, advanced species of human before their Golden Age downfall and decimation.

Relevent puppy pic

Nah God gave me a penis and not that woman so obviously he knew which was superior not evolution (Btw I -blam!-ing hate religious little shits)
-
Yes, I see natural selection all the time. For example, people who text and drive or those who smoke.
-
Makes just as much sense as a man in the sky that just so happened to be there and made everything....
-
Yes I do

1 RespuestaBio major here. Yes, Evolution is indeed real. It's not 100% concrete fact like the laws of Thermodynamics, but it is very, very solid. The reason for this, is because there are some nuances in Evolution that are still being argued even today. Overall though, yes, I believe in evolution, that we came from an ancestor cell that slowly morphed down the phylogenetic tree into what we now say are present day humans. Though, I would argue that using Natural Selection would be a better choice of words, since Natural Selection has been observed closely in fish, which are readily able to reproduce and provide many generations to study, rather than observing humans.
