Snipers should descope when taking fire. Try not to cry, snipers.
Really getting sick and tired of shooting snipers in the head with my pulses and scouts as they just stand there and proceed to get a head shot. Or, snipers getting body shots under fire and then finishing me off with TLW. A simple solution to this problem is having snipers descope when getting hit.

I'd have to agree they need more recoil to easy to drop down and headshot while getting shot at I thought that's what the unflinching perk was for but they all seem to have it as a hidden perk lol

Maybe with HC rounds but idk bc there's so much stray fire it'd way neuter them

I believe high caliber rounds should make the scopes zoom go up-left instead of just up so its not easy to pull a headshot. The scope goes up when you shoot someone who's sniping so it can still land a headshot.

Well, I use clovance duty with high caliber rounds and I still get snipe by the guy...its bull shit

Most games with this mechanic have a no scope reticle all they need to do is increase flinch slightly but if you have so many issues use high caliber rounds

Play Halo then, snipers already flinch a ton from guns like pulse rifles or AR's.

13 RespuestasUsing that Logic, every weapon that you are Aiming Down the Sights with should kick you out of the scope. I would say by increasing the amount of flinching that occurs while Aiming down the sights should fix or at least reduce the number of sore buttholes that are on the forums.

In this thread snipers try to strengthen their argument that sniping in destiny is not a serious problem in the crucible by completely ignoring the fact that it is. In this thread ignorance is dominate.

That's a huge nerf not needed on snipers. Either reduce their body shot damage so you aren't absolute or have landing head shots cause more recoil against them are the best choices for a nerf.

There needs to be waaaayyyy more flinch for snipers, not descope. You should be rewarded for sticking it out under fire and somehow counteracting the flinch (which is too low now) If snipers should descope, all other guns should descope when shot.

It takes more skill now to use a shotgun rather than sniping everyone with a few rare exceptions just sits around in a headglitch sunbathing on mercury and scoping heads and bodies it's too easy it's harder to close the gap between players to get in and use a shotgun and I'm gonna get hate for this but I'm glad the special ammo nerd is finally getting implemented in things like trials next week I cant wait to see some primary guns being used for once
