Panethon is the worst trials map ever.
All kids do is camp these the long sight lines with snipers until the capture point appears. This map is trash. Whoever picked this map for trials needs to start looking for another job. PvP had turned into "I wonder how long I can crouch and stare down this scope until someone walks past." Year 1 in PvP needs to return. The controller is designed with two thumb sticks, one for moving and the other for turning. People in trials always use one of those sticks. I bet you can't guess which one.

2 Respuestasnah... that's what Widows court is... now that is a truly horrid trials map made for sniper camping.... pantheon on the other hand offers a very safe area in the middle where no sniper can touch you unless you poke your head out and it gives you control of overtime... not only that... it offers tons of rushing lanes to freak those campers out... so yeah... its actually a very shotgun friendly map if your comfortable and experienced with the map...

Lol Pantheon isn't even hard to counter snipers on. There are plenty of flanking options, and it you go the middle path all you have to do is hug the wall and the snipers on the other side can't see you. Or you can swing outside path and come up next to them. Or you can come special hall if they aren't over there. Pantheon is not a bad trials map and leaves plenty of room for play with literally every weapon type.

I love it. I snipe people and its greatt. I use both sticks. You can easily play with a shotgun too and do well if you know the map and can use that knowledge.

2 RespuestasThere is something called flanking. You can just avoid the sniper lines and go shotgun them if you want. No need to have a cry.

Funny. I went flawless with Plan C or Warlock Fusion..... Can't snipe with this map since there's no advantages and disadvantages....

I had fun on this map even though I got destroyed in just about every match (aka my normal trials experience). There's definitely a lot of sniping on pantheon, but there's also a lot of good routes for flanking. The teams that kicked my butt the hardest were usually the ones with one really good sniper and two shotgunners that would flank the sides. My wins were usually when the team was all snipers who panicked if you got close to them because they didn't know how to switch to a primary -- though, I also ran into a-holes that splat my head consistently from 10 yards away -- either hard scope, quick scope, or some blink/shadestep spin and then a cartwheel quick scope splat. Was down 4-0 to a group of those types this one match and when I got the "Last Guardian Standing" message, I just booked my butt to the ledge and jumped.

The cap point hasn't showed up once in my games and I've gone flawless on both my characters, push the hard scopers they won't know what to do

Just because you can't use a clutchy shotgun and don't know how use a primary doesn't mean the map is bad, it takes skill to win on this map. We do need more primary fights, special is too plentiful for its one shot kill ability.

4 RespuestasWorst map ever? Definitely not. However I 1000% agree that we need to balance primary vs. Secondary guns. Trials and most of pvp has turned into camping snipers and grenades. I think the game is the most balanced it's ever been in reference to all primaries (hand cannons, pulse rifles, autos etc) but bungie needs to next look at the sniper "problem" in this game.

This is by far one of the best maps because each spawn has an equal opportunity. And yes I understand that people just camp which is garbage but they can do that on any map. And if you can't get past the sniping lanes you are just bad.
