This current iron banner playlist is fun because...
You get bonus points for killing spark runners. Defending spark runners. Moving through four zones with the spark. And generally gettings kills. Games can end up being 20,000 - 20,000 so imo that is fun and challenging but also adds a need for skill and not just camping for kills. A lot of people are pissed at rift because they require the skill to make plays and communicate which they cannot do. Its one of the top tier pvp events so people should earn the gear that drops. Otherwise your iron banner helmet means nothing to me because everybody has one.

I just said I meant the way it should be is earning the best gear. So bad players who moan about rift because they cant win, dont get as many drops as the players that enjoy themselves and do well.

The issue is before you could get along going solo into IB, but now it's very difficult going in solo bc you have to deal with no communication in a very communication based game mode.

I went through most of this IB solo, rank 5 all three characters fairly quickly and won the majority of the matches I played in. The first character the first day or so is a grind, 2nd and third character is fast. Not a huge fan of rift because one must push hard for the spark and that means this is a k/d destroyer. What I found that helps is: - Mida - for the added speed when running the Spark - Blink - for hunter and Warlock - Fight for the Spark - team that dominates the Spark area will likely win the match. If there is not people on your team grabbing the Spark you grab it. If people on your team are actively wanting the Spark focus on keeping the other team off the Spark. - Watch the timer vs Spark spawn. Most go for the heavy, this could represent an easy run to the rift for you. Many matches I grabbed and ran the Spark 5-7 times a match. Dominating the Spark like this usually means a match win. If there is really bad lag I was screwed, and that is just the way it goes Hoped this helped someone.

Agree. But destiny is an mmo. So if you dont have a few players online to go in with then youre doing something wrong. Add other solo players and go on your mic. Ita fun.

Requires zero skill and 100% communication. Skill based matchmaking is false when it's based on your win loss ratio as it isn't a measure of skill, they should base it of of accuracy shots fired shots landed and a headshot ratio based off of you're shots hit and the percentage of the that were head shots, also aim assist should be gone full stop

How was any of that salty in anyway, I pointed out flaws in the new skill based matchmaking, and that rift requires your team to communicate it takes no more skill than any other game mode, and that you can't call any of it skill until you remove aim assist.

From reading your post you seem to be the salty one, and like I said you can't call it skill until you remove aim assist, right now your saying your beast at PVP but really you and your playstation are beast and tbh the playstation is doing most of the work for you, if you are as good as say you are whats your YouTube channel? Oh how I wish i could use a mouse on ps4 with no aim assist and rely on 100% my own accuracy. Im looking into buying a splitfish dont worry. But until then ill play with aim assist and a ps4 dualshock because every other player is doing so which means its an even battlefield. If what you say is your belief then the contradiction is the fact that everybody is overpowered and therefore councils out the premise of killing anyone being super easy. You call me narcissistic but im stating facts. And my original opinion is that I find rift to be fun, no salt whatsoever. Because you dont, is not my fault, so getting salty and saying it takes no skill is also not my fault. That also applies to your views on aim assist and my ps4 doing all the work for me. Salt my friend. You might dehydrate.

Just to clarify aim assist has only been about for the past 10 or so years only in the past 3 has it been an feature you cannot turn off

There's just no telling some people, you claim not be a narcissist, all the while you're telling me if you could use a mouse and keyboard you would be unstoppable, haha if they removed aim assist why would you need a mouse and keyboard? Surely someone of you stature and renown wouldn't need this crutches, -blam!- if there was no aim assist but that wouldn't happen ever as then they would have to do somthing about the terrible connections and the fact that 95% of the world buy the cheapest internet package they can, a lot even use there phones to connect maybe your one of them maybe you not taking damage your dealt is key to your success, I really don't care you can go stroke your ego claiming you "earned" loot, i hope your next trials run gets shut down on your 6th by the lag switching fools that have been selling flawless runs to the less pvp inclined guardian haha

Rift promotes camping more than any other playlist. In fact my 9 year old son commented to me today about how he loved rift because he could just let his super charge up and get 3 or 4 kills whenever the team comes at him with the spark. Rift is a game where you need team work, but its more over a sucker punchers game. Where the real "skill" involved is sitting still long enough for the other team to not realize youre there so you can overwhelm them while theyre capturing the spark.

Lol rift promotes camping...you haven't played with good players then Rift is by far the easiest to win even with no fireteam. If you can run spark you're good to go. I've had half of my teams total score for a majority of the games and getting us the win (11K points in most games) all because I know how to grab a spark and capture without having my own personal body guard. I haven't seen anyone camping except 1 or 2 players that try to camp the spark and they get shut down quick
