Favorite Scout Rifle Archetype
Personally, I like the Low RoF (Cocytus from Omolon). What is everyone else's favorite archetype?

6 RespuestasNot sure what archetype your place them, but Vision/MIDA are my all time favorite scouts. The Tlaloc model is useless for me unless the super is charged

I like the vision of confluence type of scout rifle, never liked badger ccl so I don't like those type of scout rifles.

I got so used to Vision of Confluence in year one that anything outside that archetype feels wrong to me (in PvE at least).

2 RespuestasMy favourite archetype is high impact/low rof but my favourite specific scout is Mida. If I need to roll with a legendary primary to free up an exotic slot, it's heavy-hitters all the way (Cocytus now, but loved Proxima Centauri and Badger CCL back in the day.)

I'm all for the mid, mid. I Love my Crypt Dweller SR1 Rof 42. Impact 39. Reload 80. With my focus lens FLA5 I have a range of 65, and with high caliber rounds a stability of 44. Main perks are return to sender and third eye whick I Love. Its ascended to 170 and since I'm stuck without TTK for now, shes the best I got and I will not stop using it in pvp ever!

Love Mida and Tlaloc but Mida in particular is unique because it staggers everything! Stops them all, right in their tracks. Impressive to see.

Medium or high rate of fire are consistent performers. I've tried to like the low rate of fire but they just don't work well for me.

Mida and VoC are two of my favorite weapons in all of my time playing Destiny. I wish they would give VoC the exotic treatment.

6 RespuestasThe amount of people saying they like low RoF scouts are majority liars. The archetype isn't [i]that[/i] popular, and while I don't use it much, it happens to be my favorite.

I don't have a favorite. At one point, I had like 7 scout rifles on me and one hand cannon. I generally walk around with the Medium fire rate (think Hung Jury or Fang of Ir Yut) most of the time because that's generally what's available. I rarely have low rate of fire scouts with perks I like. I enjoy high rate of fire scouts, but they always have small magazines. The Mida Archetype was great with fitting perks.

You need to aim more carefully with those, so that just seems to make sense. Scouts are more forgiving. The slow ones just feel weird to me for some reason too. Edit: I'm loving the IB scout, though. I'll probably be putting it to use.
